@@jonforsyth5319 I believe they were discovered in a Tyler Texas bar at or near a hotel Skynyrd was staying at. They were hired to go on the road as an opening act and the rest is history. I would pay good money to see a BBS/WM/Skynyrd Triple Bill and everybody on the stage jam session afterwards (even with the no founding members version of skynyrd) but I would even settle for WM/BBS twinbill as well. Lol

I had never seen them in person or BBS until this year I finally got to see BBS and they were awesome, but still waiting to see WM.

Thank you for commenting but that is a very cool venue in Beaver Creek Ky. And you know it’s laid back and friendly because I told you it was in KY! No better people to hangout with and have a good time! I love Kentucky and especially the people and the music that comes out of that state. You know you’ve made it when you’re known in the Bluegrass State! I want to encourage y’all to go to a show there, they have them. Linda keep on Rocking, and if you can always go to a show and support the acts that are making the soundtrack to our lives! Ok I admitted it already I’m a music nerd! Hahaha!

@@jeffdooley3700 Yep, have heard Charlie explain that in different interviews. It's obviously about a soldier who comes home but is totally f--ed up from what he's seen and heard in a war zone. I don't have a channel and don't want to have one. I sure do appreciate more tech savvy folks who do share. I'm going to 3 concerts in the fall and hope I'll be in or near the front row just to enjoy and sing along to every single line of every single song. Thanks for your suggestion. Who knows, maybe I can record a bit and share. Very selfish, perhaps, but I'm going to the shows to watch, listen, sing along and not be tied to my phone/camera. Best from France!

Yep I feel like one of the top praise bands lost the 1st string drummer when it showed up at the gates! lol! It’s so strange to see another drummer behind the Kit but more than that he and Charlie were the faces and the voice of the band not only musically, but interviews, and founding the whole 9 yards! Again, I agree the angel bands rythm section just got a little more perfect when he arrived! RIP Britt!

Yes it was but not a big turn out for the show something like 3,300 I heard. First time to see a show there by the way and I loved it, very chill very cool setting and will be going again soon!

He was awesome and the Ryman crowd loved him. Very nice down to earth guy, he stayed at the Ryman meeting anyone and everyone who wanted to come to the merch booth and do that, and stayed til everyone left. It caused much confusion for the Ryman security at first but it all went well. Don't think they are used to artist inviting 3000 of their new friends to hang out with them after the show!
