It took months of growing up Curiel Root seeds and Royal Kukuru Seeds, but I finally have enough seeds that I'm currently growing out 34 Thav onions between the FC garden and Private Estate garden + two pots in the house. That's not including the dozen or so I have grown out already in the Estate pots. I've probably grown a dozen or so... Gave some to my chocobo, gave some to my husband for his chocobo, and sold quite a few. They've been selling for around 150k gil. You can definitely make millions on the Thavnarian Onion but it takes for.everrrr. I enjoy gardening and do it in my free time irl, so it's fine.

lakeland flower gardens is defo really good bang for your buck the drawback is just how painfully slowly they sell in my experience atleast and thats despite undercutting dc-wise

Mirror Apple and Old World-Fig are more reliable. I get 9 Royal Kukuru seeds from 2 beds. I get around 9 Curiel seeds from planting Mirror Apple and Krakka Root seeds. You need to prepare the beds with the first seed getting grade 1 Thanalan, then grade 3 on the rest. After all seeds have been planted, remove the first one and then plant a new one with Grade 3.

Then you have servers like mine where vampire vine sap consistently sells for between 2.5 and 3k. There's about as much variance in Lakeland flower garden as well, albeit for greater totals. Pretty much equates to the two being equal, but vampire vine sap definitely seems to sell quicker.

I’ve just started this with your help! You can also use mirror apple and old world fig seeds to get Royal kukuru. What I don’t understand is on the gardening website is that with certain crops they have you plant a couple temporary seeds. What is the point of that? I just use the Thanlan 3 on all plots. Some seem so confusing!

There are some wrong informations in this video and outdated planting. The mixed gardens, with 4 seeds of A and 4 seeds of B are not used anymore. On the ff14 gardening homepage, you can see the new, better layout. And you only can get one onion seed per harvest. There is no chance for a second. Same for harvest the onions. It only can be 1, not more. And you use cheap soil for onions, because non of the special effects of the soil work for the onions. And Im suprised. The onion price on that server ( and datacenter too I guess ) is very low :O EU datacenters its more 400k-600k per onion For 150k~ I wouldnt do gardening that takes about 20 days~ for the whole thing D:

Several things: 1. Grinding these on a level 50 is not feasible, you will need to long for this to work. I would consider doing this level 70+ 2. There are better ways to making gil on that level, even without taking crafting and gathering into account. One of this would be Fleecefarming on Karakuls around Camp Dragonhead, which also works at level 50 already. 3. Your Audio quality isn't good, you should consider getting a better microphone, not using your headset one. 4. Your numbers were slightly off. You won't get hundreds of skin per 5 minutes like you said in method 1. That might provide the image of false information, leading to dislikes 5. Consider naming methods that aren't just "kill mobs lol"

You only need potting soil to plant thavnairian onion seeds, as any kind of soils won't give any effect to the thavnairian onion seeds itself.
