Sure. Change your control scheme. Remap the melee attack button for the gun attack for easier jump cancels. Learn what combos do "fake damage", meaning they keep an enemy at 1 HP until the last hit connects. Example: trillion stabs with the sword. You can break out just before the combo ends with a dodge or a jump and kill the enemy however. Spend time in the void room practicing what combos flow well together and which don't. Watch plenty of combo mads for bits of inspiration...I wrote a lot but hope that answers ur question 🙂

Yeah? On hardcore setting? I find the time requirement to be the trickiest - hence why I only got SS on time.

Hopefully when I get the DMC5 special edition I'll upload the whole playthrough. As far as a vergil video lol, People really seem to like it because it's the closest to that famous Virgil combo.

That application was part of the reason why I dropped off the face of the earth 😅 It’s crazy how it’s been basically a year by now 🤣 It’s always been in my mind to go back to twitch but I just haven’t gotten around to it…hopefully soon 😆 good to hear you’ve got it going with your channel! Hey. Thank you for your kind words, really. I put quite a bit of work into my vids, but you're right. Sometimes it feels like I should be getting a few more views or something, but ultimately I don't do it for silly things like recognition. I do it cause it's fun. Channels like SmvR are already covered by YT's algorithm. Once the system recognizes your channel - you are guaranteed views and subs so long as you put out semi-decent content, but 'till then you can do everything and never get anywhere. Btw, I saw YOUR dmc5 vids from way back. You're pretty damn clean with your playstyle too. I noticed your combos improved in your most recent vids too.

You know I'm 26. those days are long behind me now, but I been there once - so let me know if you wanna.

@@bigpickenergy5321 ohh I passed the grade I’m going to the next one good thing I was one of the 50 students who passed the tests and now I got summer break, a lot of time on my hands.

lol. The differences are detailed in the description. Biggest changes were some audio loops added in like at 1:26-1:29 & 6:23-6:26 (those aren't the only ones) and I spliced the verses at the end together at 5:20 to resemble 'devils never cry'. Anyways, thank you for checking this out.

@@infultrxtexl1831 (Long comment, but please read) Def twitch. You see - to put it short YT is for finalized videos; for when your content is ready to be watched so streaming on this site doesn't get as much success as on twitch. Twitch is all about live service gaming. It is possible to stream on both sites at the same time when you go live. Dont ask me how. It can't be hard to figure out. Another benefit to twitch is that when people wanna see who's playing a certain type of game - they type the name of the game in the search engine, then everybody's accounts who are live streaming that game turn up with a preview shot of their stream. YT doesn't have anything close to this. Just an example why twitch is better, but you need to know that DMC5 is already a pretty dead game on twitch overall. It doesn't rack up a high viewer count. There's usually not that many people streaming the game at any given time. On average I'd say about 10-12 people stream that game every hour. Sometimes even less and sometimes slightly more. It varies of course. Lastly, twitch streaming is all about chat interaction. Most people use face cam. It adds personality to your stream, but when you don't have that you absolutely need at least a microphone (otherwise no one will stick around to watch) and the streamer needs to talk and respond to chat comments as they play. A good internet connection is pretty important on twitch and you need to be 13 minimum to create an account. Anyways, hope that explained why twitch is the better platform for streaming.

@@infultrxtexl1831 Take it from me - dont bother with h&h. Its absolutely pointless if you've already done DMD/no damage. You could jump on something else and come back to dmc later. For example; I have 4 games covered/covering on my channel. Branch out a little, you know? You could show other games that you've learned/mastered.

I don't really like my dmc4 Dante, actually. I can be real about my frustrations. Btw, if you didn't know, dmc5 Dante is NOWHERE near as complex as this one. This is simply due to many differences with both games. My biggest gripe with dmc4se is that this was the chance to implement a training room for console players, but never happened because laziness. I hope 1 day I can play this on pc with mods:) This was like the 3rd attempt. Only missions I struggled with were 15 & 17. They're tough!

@@bigpickenergy5321 yeahh you are right about that only if dmc4se had training rooms(The Void)then the game would be more easy and enjoyable to play, and I don’t really like using Lucifer, and cool that you’re getting a pc because of mods so the game is gonna be much easier play.

Appreciate that, man. It actually bugs me how mediocre in the grand scheme of things I am with dmc4 Dante. I still firmly believe this is the hardest version of him to learn, but on console you can only get so good on dmc4 :(

@@bigpickenergy5321 I agree he’s definitely harder than he is in 5, and I’ve only played a little bit of 3, but I’d say he’s less complex and easier to use with more limited controls than he is in 4

I know:) I think the concept is cool, but Blitz is too unpredictable. He can literally insta spawn & attack simultaneously. Furies, however, have a unique tell to all their animations so you learn which attack and direction they're always coming from. Fury>Blitz.

@@bigpickenergy5321 Yeah Blitz I sometimes feel like I beat them when I get lucky, but Furies I’ve really gotten better at beating over time

@@emperorzz That's the hallmark of RNG with the Blitz. I know exactly what you're talking about cuz that same thought popped in my head during this mission. ''Sometimes I own this guy, but only when I'm lucky'' That's questionable design. When you're good against a specific enemy you should do well and when you're bad - you're bad. Generally, there shouldn't be room for random wins or losses.

@@bigpickenergy5321 Exactly! Blitz just is either a moderately tough enemy, or just goes God-mode at random times while enemies like Furies are pretty tough at first, but you can predict how well you’ll do against them

@@bigpickenergy5321 I usually look for smaller channels that are just starting out by sorting by new as there are some great players that don’t have an audience yet, so I think that’s why RUclips recommends me videos like yours! Also, I haven’t posted anything DMC related in a while, so that’s probably why you didn’t see any DMC videos! I did a lot though when Vergil came out for PS4, and I’m going to try to post a dmd run with him in the near future!!!

It's funny how a lot of the default outfits in games are generally the best ones, huh? Capcom def should have included his old outfits in 5 tho and yes - I'm def running turbo. It's 1 of the things I had to learn to live without in 5. I'm quickly reminded how awesome it is when coming back to the older dmcs.

@@bigpickenergy5321 The thing about the costumes is in the original DMC4 the default was his red one. I think the blue coat redesign was concept art that didn’t exist until Special Edition and it just makes Nero look so much cooler. Capcom must have known since they made it default 😏 but holy hell no wonder the game looks so fast! From what I’ve gathered, many players love turbo. It’s basically the standard for a lot of people. Might have to try it 😅
