How to get the Squirrels On A Plane Achievement in Sonic 3 Angel Island Revisited.
Freeing 35 critters might seem like a lot, but you can free several at once from confinement in capsules. I felt I had to redo the level because the first recording, where I actually got the achievement, had a several minutes pause in the middle. I ordered some food and it arrived 20 minutes too early. I could have edited it out but decided that redoing it was easier only to notice halfway through editing the video that I actually missed a Technosqueek Badnik around 2:43 in this one. Ultimately I decided that I actually freed the required 35 critters and publish it as is.

I don't know what you mean, I've never had a problem with Sonic jumping without being ordered to.
On mobile, if you press A while tails is flying you up sonic will jump

Yes, it can be done on several places, some probably easier. I never claimed that this to be the best nor the only place to get this achievement. This is just the first place I found where I could reliably get it myself.
dude you only need 20 rings to enter a bonus stage not 35
There are different bonus stages depending on the amount of rings you have when you trigger the bonus stage, and not every bonus stage have lightning shields.

Probably. But I didn't find any badniks in shallow water while wearing the electric shield. It isn't a case of there aren't any and more spots for fishing or that this is the best way to do it. It was more a case of I found this spot first and could repeat it reliably.
@@pabloillescasruiz962 after when Angel island was set on fire, you’ll find a thing (I forgot what’s it called) that can carry you then swing you at the end right? Then once you started going around the circle, jump up to the top of the loop and get the electric shield after that. After getting the electric shield, go back again and you’ll basically find a platform that kept going up and down, jump down pass it and boom, you electrocuted the water with one badnik inside Sorry if this explanation confuses you by my dogwater goofy ahh English skills

I tried to do this in hydrocity zone act 2 but i kept getting that stupid gambling bonus stage,.. EDIT: Nevermind, Collect 35 rings like he said to get the bonus stage you need. also, You dont need tails if you use the Peel-out.
It has been a while since I last tried it. Unless they have changed the game logic what special stage is triggered depends on how many rings you have collected before touching the post. If you have less than 35 rings you will not get the glowing spheres stage. If they have actually changed it then you will have to find another spot to fish...
for the bonus stage a get a different bonus stage
The stage you get depends on the amount of rings you have collected when you activate the star post checkpoint.

apparently and just now as I'm writing this comment there was another big ring I found in marble garden act 1 so there are 7 big rings so if you failed all the blue sphere stages up to this point you can try and get them all in act 1 of marble garden

Sonic 3 AIR is mostly the original game with a few enhancements, resolution and achievements 2 of them, so there is no reason you couldn't do this in the original MD\Genesis game. There are no achievements thought.

I get it in angel island act 1 without knowing
i still have only sonic and knuckles title and level select cuz i dont really do the achievements
Level select and sonic and knucks title screen are ez for S&K title you have to crouch Infront of knuckles in sky sanctuary and for level select you have to do this combination: left left left right right right up up up. (On the swingy thing in angel island)

Thanks man, i have all secrets on the Game but this achiviement are the most hard (I dont know the ubication of the rings)
Is not hard you can just go to level select to go bonus stage 2 and it will work (fun fact your rings dont get removed when you die)
@@tinaayena-dossu4305 the achievement says without dying though. Also the achievement is to get 6 giant rings in marble garden act 1, so I don't think a bonus stage would help.
