    Great work Bill , shrouds , deadeyes and ratlines are always fun ;) Just a suggestion. The thread you are running between the dead eyes if you put a little CA glue on the end 1cm and once dry cut the very end at an angle you will find it much easier to thread it through the holes in the deadeyes.

    • @billsmodelbuilds5078
      @billsmodelbuilds5078 Месяц назад

      Thanks Greg, I have been trying that trick with the CA, maybe I need to do it a bit longer (in length) than I have been doing, and leaving it longer. I always seem to end up with a flat end

    You should be able to take out the tilt in the foremast when you tie the ratlines/shrouds.

    • @billsmodelbuilds5078
      @billsmodelbuilds5078 Месяц назад

      Thanks Neill. Yeah, i had thought to do that but I dont want the ratlines taking the strain of (un)tilting the masts . I think I have most of the tilt out now, it was mostly due to the wood bring bent before I started, which I didnt check until I got to the main mast - Lesson learnt !!!!
