i use a strong eastern/modified eastern/soft semi western my index knuckle and heel pad are on between the 3 and 4 bevel for comfortability too

Eastern for more versatility. You can hit high and low balls comfortably. Semi-western for more topspin but you maynhave more trouble with extremely low balls. Western great for high bouncing balls. I mostly use an easten when playing with weaker players that don't hit the ball deep or players that like to hit flat. With those I'm more likely to make contact lower as the ball is on the way down. I switch to a semi-westren when I can catch the ball on the rise, even if it's low.
