wait, i guess you didn't understand the story fully yet. a group of scientists found a gene thief queen and something called royal jelly which can be given to the queen for her to make ants of various species. the group originally added DNA of two ants - black ants and wood ants and carried out two experiments. then they decided to add leafcutter DNA and carry out the third and final experiment and then destroy the colony and the royal jelly as the project was mostly experimental and the colony was artificially created. but after the third experimented, the male scientist started keeping the colony secretly even after having being order to destroy them. after the fourth experiment, the group became suspicious of him and fired him from their group. without him colony starved to almost death as you saw in 'Pasage of TIme'. later as you saw today, he secretly came back again and carried out the real final experiment which showed the real power of concentrated unrefined royal jelly! finally he mixed the ants with something and drank it himself and turned into some monster or something; then he carried the colony with him and went into the jungle probably. basically in the entire story, he risked his own life trying to protect the colony from getting disposed and covering the secret from other scientists. but why was he so strict towards the colony? so that the colony learns to adapt to difficult situations. i mean.. he's like the Asian parents. now decide whether he's a jerk or not. 😂

I finished Trail out 100% it's amazing game

(totally a joke or maybe more like a roast) Tips on how to become a pro player like Mr. Glen Bixley: 1. never go outside the nest and get good food, always stay inside to fight and gather food very slowly. go out after you've wasted enough time. 2. outside fight the strongest enemy you see and try to kill it with you 5 soldiers. send your soldiers to death which will cost 100 food but gather only 5 food from the enemy. 3. do not go after the good food, instead keep attacking enemies which will give you 10 food in one day. 4. after gathering the food, do not build ants, instead spend them on food stores to collect more food by which you'll make more food stores and so on. 5. build more ants only after you've been kicked on your butt. but do not build soldiers. instead make 1000 workers which will die in 2 seconds to even a woodworm. 6. never ever make medics no matter what and say "oh I must have forgotten to buy their upgrade". even if you do make them, keep them in nest group so they do nothing. 7. fight everything, no matter whether it's actually harming you or not. even if it's a dinosaur and you're an ant, fight whatever you see, never run away or avoid your enemy. then lose all your food and then try to fight the enemies again, hoping to get 2 or 3 food. 8. always use your workers to fight and have 7 workers transport 1 million eggs in the nest 9. make food store beside your queen and workers right at the entrance, so the nest workers need to travel a long distance to transport egg, and *hopefully* die in the path. 10. always try to kill your own food source. never go for the left mound with a good spot, or the right one. always target the central termite nest. 11. by spending 500 food to fight creatures that give 5 food, you can save 5 food by not fighting creatures which give 500 food. 12. do not cancel your marker until all your ants have died which costed you the GDP of China, then come back with GDP of 5 people. 13. build ants right on top of sting ant tunnel so that the workers die as soon as they are born. 14. give all your energy completing the optional objective of killing sting ants even though you can see they are just patrolling the tunnels and don't willingly attack your nest unless you attack them, and ignore the mandatory objective of killing driver ants. 15. if you're outta food, never search for free food, or go after the termites. always fight the dinosaurs, so that whatever ants are still alive die too.

oh, you did one entire chapter in one video, so couldn't help you. But wanna say one thing 4:54:36 the whip mantis and praying spider actually fight each other. If you can get them go near each other, they'd nearly kill each other, making the level much easier 😂

A couple of tips: Only 1 customer can check out any display at a time. So if someone is at one, they will either walk out or go to the next. If it's empty, they will leave. I "think" customers won't go to a display until the previous customer has paid..not 100% sure on that but I will double-check when I'm playing again. I notice things more when I'm watching other people's streams then when I am playing lol. Also, pretty sure you lose energy faster when you don't eat, and that slows you down. I would make sure to grab a hot dog at least once a day LOL You wake up with full energy but its depleted by noon...it should go down much slower. Eating is important. When you're slow from lack of energy, it's much harder to catch thieves. Eat a snack from your vending machine or ante up the $10 for a hot dog :) Also, the latest update is still in the dev branch. I have seen a couple of streams from people testing it. There's definitely a couple of glitches between the version you're on and the dev branch version. I really hope they fix the issues before the full release so that old saves can be used!

After checking steam, I am not 100% completely upgraded. When the game updated to Version 3, my files have once again become out of date and I can not continue. I still need staff ( casher and security Gard. ) There is also another map area I have not yet opened. This game is hard to keep up with when every update makes previous saves out of date preventing further progress.

Stronghold is such a great game. But this was a long stream for a really small part of it and I couldn't really hear you most of the time because your mic is too quiet/game is too loud.

Sorry Todays Audio is really bad. I could not get my USB mic working so all Audio was through Blue Tooth headset.

I'm looking forward to the release where you can pick a globe location and pick your HQ because Templin, Germany is a massive walled town with 17k hitpoints per wall section and the infected don't seem to attack them. Already have my HQ building picked out. Also is it just me or does the narrator sound a lot like Tom Hanks.
