Beautiful Wolfgang!!, I am about to prepare my Montañés dedeyes, you mention that you are using amatti 1mm thick thread, is that measured the same way Occre measures threads?, the thickest thread that comes with the kit is .8 mm, that would make these thread a .2mm thicker, is that correct?, I am making my own themread, the ones that come with the kit are terrible

Hi Wolfgang, firstly compliments on your quality work. The ship looks great. I am looking for something a bit bigger to build after I finish Pegasus from Amati and your Motanes looks like a really good option. I have only built one Occre kit ( Endurance) which was a lot cheaper and I thought the kit quality was just OK. Are you happy with the standards of the kit components in Montanes..? it looks to me to be much better than Endurance but that might just be your superior building. Would appreciate your feedback on the kit. John Australia ps... I just saw your rigging tool and immediately ordered one....what rope did you use for your running rigging..? was that from Occre.? that was one of the poor components in the Endurance kit. Yours looks much better but those red spools look more like Amati.

Hi Wolfgang, I would 100% agree with Greg, youve done an amazing job, were you using a glue wash to secure the ropes, ie glue and water?

Beautiful work Wolfgang, thank you very much for the detail on the installation of all those little pieces (I don’t now what they are called), the manual is simply not very helpful, how many did you use?, the manuals said there where supposed to come 95, I see you only got 87 and I just got 85. hello, ive been searching for the wood cutter you use. I built the prinz eugen and cut all my strips with a knife, and that cutter would of saved time. where is it sold and whats its actual name. thanks
