Brother you don’t have to hate they’re still a solid cymbal line for the price even if they don’t sound all that great as long as he’s giving them love and attention thats all that matters

@mathenvegan I'm not hating on the playing, I'm hating on such a terrible financial decision. It's not like this kid is playing Rush or Zappa drum covers. He could get by on a crash, hi hats, and a ride only.

I have a ton of cymbals because I want a lot of sounds for a cheap price and have symbrachydactyly on my left hand so I'm doing all I really can for grip right now. I might as well get a lot of cymbals for WHEN I need them. Even if I don't use a cymbal very much, That means it's a unique sound that I only use when it's right. I do want to get professional level cymbals eventually but I'd rather have a lot of fun things to hit than just a few cymbals because I am not a calm drummer at all, that's why you see a lot of arm movement. I hit really hard and fly all over the kit. It's just how I play. Keep in mind I've only been playing for about a year and a half and teaching myself based off of listening to drums in songs, so I won't ever be the best, but I can definitely be good. About the better alloy, I just don't have the money for that, because all of my cymbals so far would have been about a thousand dollars with stands included, that's about 2-4 pro level cymbals. And when your only income is 20-30 bucks a week for cleaning your own basement? Yeah I can't really afford that right now. But I WILL replace all of my cymbals with professional cymbals eventually. Anyway, I'm not trying to be an a$$ by replying like "Hrmm actually" I just want to try to explain why I play the way I do. Hope this cleared it up a little! (forward this to anyone who asks about me if anyone does)

You don't NEED that many but if you're a rock drummer you're kinda always chasing new sounds so specific moments. I'm a jazz drummer with hats, a crash, a crash ride, a ride, and a splash, but I've been looking for either a china or a smack stack that I can add to my setup.
