I am not giving advice but i will not be doing that. I don't want to get locked into low-@$$ strike with measly premiums... For me it is like this - that $100/contract is less than latest dividend for 15 months commitment. I already made mistakes of selling calls early... I am waiting until BITO is $33+ to sell my calls .. yes i am missing in short term... But i have a stark reminder... I have 1 open call that i sold for $27 strike and then had roll ... At the time of rolling (march '24) this $34 call for Jan '25 cost $6... Now its $0.14 But because i was locked in and had to roll - i collected only $0.35 ... At this point i have only 3 calls that i sold on gamble shares ... Will wait... BTC will eventually pump

@@dripcalc Good points. MSTR's recent pump from $130 to $230 is a good reminder to not mess around with options on Bitcoin related ETFs.

Well I'm still going to sell calls.. im just waiting for BITO to run to around $28-30 before i sell long dated far out the money calls. Example - in March '24 a $34 strike call for Jan '25 was around $6... But because is sold calls 2 months prior, i only got $0.5 when I rolled... Don't want to repeat that mistake... So im waiting. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE 😁

BITO distributions are taxed as ordinary Income - so your regular tax rate If you are in a 30% bracket - that's ur tax rate on BITO... You may or may not have to pay social security, Medicaid, etc. im not an expert there so consult a tax professional

Robinhood stock (HOOD) doesn't pay dividends. But if you have actual dividend stocks on Robinhood, you do get dividends through Robinhood... Hope this answers your question.

Yes i think it's pretty good, given that BTC went down compared to when they rolled AUG contract to Sep, and with outstanding shares also going up. It is a 68% yield :D

RIOT ... but very small positions and way out the money... Like $6.50 or below... Also SOFI ... But not as good premiums... Both very RISKY! Especially RIOT

you get higher premium, bus most likely will be assigned (meaning will have to buy)... my goal with puts is mostly to earn cash .,. not own the shares)

Let's see the upside first, then celebrate 🥂 The call credit spread can be beneficial ONLY IF underlying stocks go up, and above the breakeven of the call buy. If stocks stay flat, not only we won't benefit, but we also end up with less dividend, because we spent money to buy those calls 😔 I do hope it all works out for all of us... I bought BITO (DRIP + YM dividends) for $16.45 and sold $20 Jan '25 call for $1.15 ... So my cost is $15.30 + dividends until January... If i get assigned - oh well - cap gains. If not, my cost basis is lower. Bito today is $18.50

I would probably not recommend 50% of your investment in risky stocks like BITO... What im doing - is funneling all my yieldmax dividends into BITO... I am not aggressively investing into this (yet). I did preemptively buy at $16.25 on Friday, for the amount of incoming September dividend from BITO.

Uhm... YieldMax distributions are taxes the same way. So there's no difference in that regard. I would rather take 80% yield at ordinary income tax rate than 10% yield at 15% tax rate 😁 I need to check the IRA thing

@@dripcalc Yeah if your yield is massive there is room for taxes. But What is BITO's average distribution before its taxed? 15% or less? Its comparing apples to oranges at that point but both are fruits. Its still a "drag" on total returns and there's no math way around that fact. And most content creators are absent minded when comparing realistic taxing of distributions of certain etf's verse others that might be taxed differently. Simply saying "Yield max pays huge and enough that taxes dont matter" is kinda a silly novice thing to say and think which many and I mean many youtubers just skim over as a non factor.

That new ATH may not happen for a very long time... If we slide into recession now... We might be 3 years from next ATH on Bitcoin

MSTR is trading at 1.82x NAV premium to their BTC holdings... That's why MSTY can capture close to BTC upside... But its down like 60% from the top, and those people who bought in the $40's are really hurting right now 😔

So few things. Depleting oil reserves does not make oil more scarce. The actual amount of oil in the world does not change... You either take oil from the ground or from reserves. In fact this depletion did end up with oil prices going down... Not sure how much of an effect it had, but for sure it did. Oil reserves did not cause the wars, etc. But they definitely need to be refilled, and now is a pretty good time, cuz oil is $70, whereas brandon sold it at $100+

@@dripcalc democrats do not want to drill oil though because they want to go green. This could cause shortages. They don’t want to build plants and expand oil companies. America has been buying alot of oil from iran and other countries.

In theory - DCA works for any stock. In reality - if the stock professionally goes down then no matter how much you DCA, and the result will not be good 😊 When you say high yield div ETF - what exactly do you mean, which ticker? The reason I chose S&p 500 is because over time it has always gone up. There are ETFs that have not gone up, or not a lot... For example I made a video about JEPI vs SCHD ruclips.net/video/iiEHKc4oa2A/видео.html ... While SCHD dividend yield is lower it has a higher total return than JEPI If by High Yield you mean YieldMax... It's a hit or miss...

BP & SHELL get "owned" by UK taxes ... but I think at this moment they have much better metrics that XOM CVX has HESS acquisition in limbo until summer 2025 at the earliest, and if that goes south so with the stock price. And so far, XOM which is trying to block the deal, seems to be winning. Anyway ... I only have 100 shares of BP, as my overall conviction of OIL currently is weak. I am looking to buy when oil is below $50

No. I sell subscription to stock research data that is compiled in an easy to understand manner, as well as Side by Side comparison.. this you won't find for free (convenience and easeof use). Yes info itself is free, public, etc... and if you want to go through numerous 10K and 10Q forms or endless tables of numbers - go for it. Its free data. YieldMax archive is part (free addon) to the stock research/compare tools subscription. You can get today's data from yieldmax website completely free... What about yesterday data what about a week, a month ago? Any way - data is free, go get it. Noone is obligated to subscribe. If you want convenience...

Got boom arm, shock basket and pop filter for the mic, and also adjusted all the levels, volumes, EQ and noise reductions in video editor. Listened in headphones ... sound is pretty clean now (future videos). There still could be some normal sounds ... like I NEED to type or click or scroll, etc. But overall sound is now much cleaners.

Yes .. TSLY long term will be fine... For me it was income replacement Main purchase was PLTR - ruclips.net/video/OAurDg1dail/видео.html MO is garbage at $52... People buying it because "everything" is up... Why didn't they buy it 4 months ago when it was $40? I did... And now got out with profit MO will be back to low $40s in few months... And even if not... PLTR will be a $100 stock in couple of years, meanwhile i make 25% yield selling covered calls MO posted 10% yearly decline in smoking rate, and price hikes won't work when its down another 30-50% in next 3 years .. smokeless will not make up the difference, and soon enough there will be not enough revenue/ free cash flow to buy back shares to keep up with $4/year dividends This is a dead stock, while my PLTR will go to the moon 🚀 with occasional hard landings, so i can buy more on sale 😁
