There are "all white" communities in this area, and they're serious about it. "All-white" real estate brokerage offices, more than a few, big and small including national firms. People hassle blacks in public, with impunity. Realtors blacklist those who they "do not like" and engage in various forms of group bullying. Good 'ole boy (and Good 'ole girl) lawyers rule the roost just like the "Deep South" towns on TV shows. People do the "hold their nose" gesture when Jews are around. The cops let seniors get abused and bullied by the locals. not a nice place. not a nice place.
