Apparently the aliens are called Death Angels, which Lupita Nying'o also did not know lol I don't think anybody did. But I agree, I loved this movie, I thought it was great and I think it's also my favourite, the characters and performances are wonderful. And you're right, it is a beautiful movie about connection! That's the key. If you do get to watch Pig, I'd like to hear your thoughts on that as well, it also co-stars Alex Wolff who was in this as Reuben, the guy who works at the hospice.

Updated list after I've watched New Blood and thought for a bit: 1st Place: Season 1 Just perfect, I couldn't think of a single flaw here. The Ice Truck Killer is by far the greatest Dexter villain of all time (sorry Trinity). 2nd Place: Season 4 The only thing I dislike is Batista+LaGuerta, apart from that it's perfect. Trinity is by far the second best villain in all of Dexter, only behind the undisputed GOAT of all Dexter villains, the Ice Truck Killer. 3rd Place: Season 2 This would easily be first place if it was Season 8. This genuinely feels like it should be the finale of the entire series, Season 2 out of 8 is way too early. 4th Place: Season 7 I like how much higher the stakes are compared to the previous two seasons, the only thing I really dislike is Dexter wanting to kill LaGuerta, that just doesn't make sense and goes completely against what we've learned the past 6 seasons. 5th Place: Season 3 I liked it. Seeing how Dexter slowly finds out Miguel has been messing with him the whole time was very interesting. 6th Place: New Blood Mixed feelings. I like the new characters for the most part, and I like how they've aged up Harrison and that the stakes in the end are a lot higher, but I don't like Kurt Caldwell, I think he's a very one dimensional villain, and I think the ending came bit abrupt and it felt a bit forced and unnatural. 7th Place: Season 5 The worst season that I (barely) still consider worth watching. It's alright, I kinda like the story of this sort of manhunt, but it does feel kinda boring, plus like half of the season is just "Someone catches on to Dexter, oops what a coincidence now they're dead." Would've been a lot higher if Debra found out at the end where she was kinda sympathizing with them without knowing Dexter was the one behind it all. 8th Place: Season 6 The whole religion theme just doesn't fit Dexter. Also, Debra being romantically in love with Dexter? Ew 🤮! Who thought this was a good idea? The only good thing about Season 6 is (apart from perhaps the Brother Sam story) the ending, we were all waiting for that to finally happen. 9th Place: Season 8 I don't feel like I need to explain this one. Everything about this is one giant piece of shit, and anyone who says otherwise is objectively wrong!!!

I think it's quite descent movie eventhough forgetable. It's mark the end of 20th century fox's marvel.

hats off to finishing the movie. It never got anywhere. There wasn't even any long exposition.........it just loiters in scenes for no purpose, attempting to hit the viewer over the head with whatever uneventful narrative it was aiming to deliver

If you'd like to see a good western flick, watch OLD HENRY. It came out 2021, and is the best film of its genre I've seen in at least a decade.

I couldn't watch past 1hr 25 minutes.........this movie has the triple feature (bad writing/bad directing/bad acting)......what a shame.

I understand why this failed at the box office. But really Pt 2 was delayed ? It really looked like Pt 2 was gonna be the more exciting movie, what a damn shame. Good review, I felt the same way that this should've been a mini series.

Logan was my biggest disappointment.

it was alright. my main grip is how Logan was used. I would've had him show up at the last battle.

The Quicksilver and Wolverine scenes were the best scenes.

I remember being SO excited to see this, I went opening night in cinemas. And it was so disappointing :( I really liked members of the cast, but most of them were under-used and the story was rough.

My wife and I watch Deadpool together all the time, its our couples movie lol. I was in tears during the opening credits, especially the Green Lantern card.

The cast was so freaking good. Felt like i had just finished watching an anime OVA by the end of it tbh.

I was in high school when this came out. My friend and i skipped school to see it. It was one of my first DVDs. I'm beyond hyped for Deadpool and Wolverine.

I thought it wasn’t as bad as people said it was. I guess at the time compared to the first 2 it was viewed as garbage. Compared to some that would come later…yeah not that bad.

I love that, though Ernie Hudson didn't get much to do in the earlier movies, they gave him a bigger role in these new ones. I just love him as an actor.

12. Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (Pt. VIIII). I’m just not a fan of how they portrayed Jason as this parasitic worm that switches bodies! Also the story of him all of a sudden having relatives. Up til this point we are nine movies in and never heard about any family members! I’m sure he did, we all do but why now? 11. Friday the 13th, Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan It’s really not a bad movie and the fact that most of the movie takes place on a cruise, I still have fun with it. I do hate there’s little New York in it and how fast Jason teleports in this movie is ridiculous. Love the Julius’s rooftop kill. 10. Jason X How did Jason become human again? Other than that it’s a good movie. Great kills! Uber Jason was ok! I just like the other 9 movies a lot more better! 9. Friday the 13th, Part VII: The New Blood Great kills! One of the best Jason portrayals! Not a big fan of Tina’s telekinetic powers though it would be something I would love to have if Jason was after me! 😂 I was happy when Jason killed Melissa, she definitely deserved it as well as Dr. Crew because he wasn’t trying to help Tina. But tried to study her telekinetic abilities for his own benefit. I hate Maddy died after what she went through trying to be good enough for David. 8. Freddy vs Jason This was more of a Nightmare on Elm Street movie than a Friday the 13th movie. Love the characters but hate the movement of Jason for the most part. It was great seeing two horror icons battle it out in the end!Also Lori is so fine ❤❤! 7. Friday the 13th (1980) I know it’s the OG of the franchise! Pamela was scary in this! I just wish we were introduced to her in some way earlier instead of in the last 10-15 minutes of the movie! This is in my opinion one of the scarier ones if not the scariest of them all! The setting of this movie makes you feel so isolated, even as a viewer. 6. Friday the 13th, Part 3 This was one of my favorites growing up! I know this movie is famous for Jason getting his signature hockey mask right before he killed my baby Vera 😂😂! What I hate about most of these movies is you don’t get to know much about some of the characters and this is one of them! 5. Friday the 13th (2009) The start of the movie leading up til the title screen was a masterpiece. Everything after that is ok! I feel the characters start to die off too fast. Jason is still teleporting. Stupid decisions are made! The setting of this movie almost feel like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Trent is the biggest asshole! Jenna is another one of my Friday the 13th crushes, it hurts to see her die. l like the character of Clay but the idea of Jason holding someone hostage is so not like him. Jason X is an awful movie but it's a blast. It knows it's stupid and campy. It's a nice change of pace.I know it's not one of the better films in the franchise, but it's in the same breath as Part 6 (but obviously not as great lol) in that it's different. Also, it takes places in space....the final frontier.

I’m not a Godzilla fan but checked this movie out to see what the hype was about. Went with my whole family and everyone walked out saying it was the best movie they had seen in years. From my wife to 21yr old daughter, to boys (10&12). Everyone got emotional during the film and loved it!!

7/10 For me :)
