DO IT! The 2.0 ltr is the one to go for too. You can even get a Mk2 2.0 ltr for less than 4k - you'd be daft not to!

@@LemaruYT from everything I've read in the Vehicle Classification Table, the 485kg unladen weight of the Ami still puts it out of the threshold in Britain (which appears to be 425kg going by the above doc).

@@motoringmoods done lots so far IMs clutch fly wheel brakes ect ect on my 2 post now having full suspension refresh as I type. Inc fitting coil overs.

Thanks for the input but this is a 996.1, which does not have the jack point in the fuse box. I actually covered this in one of the earlier shorts 👍

Not during this stage, no. I ended up taking the battery out after I got access and charged it whilst it was out of the car.

I was hoping the cigarette adaptor was going to be the thing to do it, but knew it wasn't gonna be that easy. I'm going to reroute the cable at some point

It 100% is. Still, not as expensive as the Ami Buggy which comes in at around £12k and has even less!

@@motoringmoods Its a shame some of the cheep offerings available in China are not available here , it is a climate catastrophe emergency after all and our governments failings are becoming all to clear .

I had no other choice. As mentioned elsewhere, the steering lock was activated, so it would've been a wheel off job and the alternative of rummaging about the rear light looking for a cable I couldn't see was not something I wanted to spend time on. Waste of time or not, the frunk is open 👍

@@blurigard447 thanks! We've been learning some new techniques for this one which have hopefully upped our production quality - hope it shows. The Ami was the perfect car for it; the visibility in such a small car was amazing

@@adamsangels9874 lol, so I may be a bit of a Luddite as there was a minute or two when I was wondering “why does he have the camera pointing down at the passenger seat cushion?!” lol…duh, I figured it out.

My mistake! I didn't realise the C4 was actually the first to have e-gas. Thank you for the correction. Due to the nature of the 360 format, I tend to do things in one take, and sometimes there's the odd slip of the tongue. I do try to limit these as much as possible but it can be hard when trying to remember everything. Thanks for watching and please keep the critiques coming!

@@georgemayson4936 thank you, George, I really appreciate the feedback! The audio is something I aim to rectify shortly with some DJI Mics, as the internal mic on the x4 isn't the greatest, even with mic covers. Unfortunately, I've yet to find a successful way to edit the 360 content if it's across multiple clips; which means everything needs done in one take and generally unscripted (especially if I want to "maintain the journey"). Splicing the 360 content together with single-lens content without flattening the image has also been a pain point. I think I may need to split the series into two; one with the more traditional approach, with quality edits and perhaps focusing more on a car's visual aesthetic, and a second 360° only series that's more about the cars themselves and the roads/places being visited. Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback, it's really helpful at this early stage of the channel! You're not the first to mention the air freshener. I'll either need to move it or get one that's REALLY eye catching! 😂
