Vikings Intro - If I Had a Heart [HD]
There's no difference between a lucky and good trader. Only thing is know when to exit
Let’s be honest… it’s not your first time watching this scene! 🎬 Absolute perfection from an acting, pacing, cinematography standpoint 👏🏻
There aren't any good traders, we only remember the ones that got lucky.
Best scene of 3 season
betting with a billion dollars and only 18 million in profit, wtf is this weak ass return?
Don't worry you'll understand in some time, if not let me know I'll explain
@@notpiyushpatil so they are investing with their clients' money even then less than 2% return in commission seems like chum change.
@@johnham4485 So Rishi trades on behalf of Pierpoint so all the money he makes is theirs, In this scene he was in 39 million loss and by the end of 2 minute trade he was positive 18 million. So he netted 57 millions in the two minute trade and offloaded the position. So he made around 5.7% gain on a billion within 2 minutes which is a lot when considering the trade size.
If you have ever traded FX, you would know that the FX market's moves are only in the order of 4 decimal places. Movements are not in whole numbers and are very small. That's why currencies are used as medium of exchange. You do not want the Pound to behave like Bitcoin which could lose up to 10% of its value in a dump in 1 minute. Anyway, these small moves mean that the positions have to be leveraged. So if the term were to use a leverage of 1:10, it means the firm only needs to commit 10% of the yard into that position, which is 100 million pounds. The rest of the capital is leveraged. Any profits or losses are calculated as if you were putting up the entire money. So a return of 18 million pounds on a 100 million investment is 18%: it is phenomenal. Most hedge funds, companies, etc, that really outperform do not even make more than 30% annualized in the Western markets. Only emerging markets offer much higher rates of return.
Is this industry season 3?
yes
@buho.fausto1840 ta
You're not even a good trader, you're just lucky! What's the difference? I don't want to be right i just want to make money
18 million in 45 seconds. Incredible balls of steel Rishi
I just realized Mo Salah's buyer (Al Miraj) is his own family.
This episode was an incredible Uncut Gems homage.
Which episode was this?
Harper: uhhhh I'm just covering my short to hedge against the announcement but ok
How much commission would Rishi take home for this trade? And how much sales credit for the guy on the phone with al-miraj ?
Rishi is an absolute madman. Love him.
And Rishi lived happily ever after
All he needed to do was go down on his wife
I have no understanding of what’s going on but it’s still exciting to watch & that’s what make it great
There's a reason i saw this thank you
Rishi: What are our clients doing, please? So, I can front run them.
RULE BRITANNIA
I'M A MAN, AND I AM RELENTLESS
Wallstreetbets are boyscouts compared yo Rishi's balls deep positions lol
What is the brand of the jacket that Rishi is wearing here?
Probably Tom Ford or something in that fashion
Sweatpea too damn sexy bro
This is how I win!!!!!!
Radiohead + Thom Yorke = Thomas Shelby’s Life
Al Miraj??!!! Wow!
Can someone explain this scene to me like I’m in the 9th grade?
Rishi fell off. This season is not it so far
Fu
Al-Mi'raj... No fucking way lol
Rishi immediatly knew if Harper was buying.. something was up
as someone who works this literal job, lol Harper is calling to buy (you can hear Yasmin tell him) normally hedge funds or fast money don’t give direction, here they did
I just realized they mentioned Al miraj here
rip
2:25 the foreshadowing!!!
The desperation of Rishi’s sale and their quick willingness to take the trade, it really was brilliant foreshadowing, and the elevator scene afterwards on the man’s downfall
@@JackGreggsI meant The bank is officially sold to Egyptian investment firm Al-Mi’raj.
Good catch
1 billion position to make to 18mil, that’s less thn 2% return.. he was down 39 million on a 700 mill position, which is 5.5% 😂 the the RR here is absolutely insanity. Gotta love rishi
a gambler through and through...
All of that while trading Forex which is arguably the most risky asset to trade
Which is one of the cool things about the scene. It turns out that Rishi is a terrible trader.
Didn’t realise everyone was a pro trader in the comments
Dude Ali just sold a billion pounds damn dude
Im sorry. But is this the new season!!!! Where TF DO U WATCH IT?!?!
eBaums
brown indian guy saying rule britannia was not something i expected to see in life 😭
He’s English of Indian heritage
The UK is a country. British is a nationality, not a race. Brown people can be British. Keep up ol' chap or you'll be sent back to school at this rate!
Swear to god their “fin speak” is the most gibberish language I have ever heard. I don’t even think the other traders know wtf they are saying to each other…hey…fist up ass for 80 over 20? Sure but only if I could teabag your dog while your mom watches for a full taint…deal done!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Soundtrack in this scene??
soundtrack available on spotify
@@buho.fausto1840name of track when the almiraj trade goes through?
@@nupur13p it's called "Rue Britannia" by Nathan Micay.
You're only as good as your last trade
best television episode of the year. Rishi made me his number one fan.
Which video do you mean
@@junaidhassan8607 he deserves an Emmy
That woman pulling him into the water always scared the shit out of me.. now i have watched it so many times, i don’t flinch anymore😅.. such a beautiful scene
Rule Britania indeed.
The true meaning of full porting
Why he banged up tho ?
What does 180 Tudor mean?
Tudor = GBP
@@Neojhun lol no .. Tudor is the name of a client, Salesperson found a seller of GBP for Rishi, she asked Rishi for his bid (a buyer) in 180m GBP for Tudor (a seller)
Why does the guy look like someone beat the CRAP outta him was it a fellow employee that had a grudge?
no, he was at a club the night before and was kissing on someones gf, the girls bf found them and beat him up
How much is the sales credits? Why is the salesperson still listening to him if the position go bust their desk is done and they not gonna receive any comp.
Double sales credits - What's the commission from that one yard of sterling sales?
Officially my Roman Empire
