I had an original 3000 mid-60s and it was it felt like it had a rusty ladder for a frame. It looked good, though. The new one is far better built.. but like me.. it has grown porky in the interim. Highlights? Our German Shepherd flying out and over the truck during acceleration.. and a rear wheel that flew off right after a 100 mph run. FYI. The car stopped like an anchor had been thrown over.. better than modern ceramic brakes, eh.
