The struggle of cooking eggs is real dude😅
I'm so glad I'm not alone!
Best tunes
Don't change your weight bro just git gud! 😘Jokes aside, loving the vids!
Classic 😂 thanks bro appreciate the support! See you on the mats 🙇🏻♂️
Aweh Tom, so cool to see all this on YT 😅. Josh is a frkn beast.
You did really well. A little work on your fundamentals will go a long way. Small things. Take the video to your instructor and go over it with him position by position. You were able to dominate tempo but played loose and in the end allowed him to get a leg lock which should have never have happened. Once you get to a dominant position you need to lock it in so it is impossible to remove you, then you slowly kill there soul with pressure until they want to be put out of there misery. Only then do you sink in the choke or other sub, and don't squeeze with all of your will, you start slow and deliberate and add pressure over time so you don't burn out. This is the way to put fear into them under pressure. Go talk with your instructor. If you don't gave a great instructor go to the place where one is and get some private lessons from him. It will take your game to a new level. I promise.
Thanks! This was such a well written comment with great tips! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and respond with this 🙏🏼
It takes much more resilience and humility to share a loss. And you learn more from it, plenty more comps to come. Keep training, thanks for sharing your journey!
Thanks for the encouragement and for watching!

Funny that this was recommended to me. This was my third comp as well.
Haha Awesome! How did it go for you?
You're normally 78/79 and couldn't cut to 77? Bruh that's literally just not drinking water from the night before. Do you not have a coach to advise you on these things? First time I came across your videos. Keep training hard bro!
Yea I probably could have but didn’t feel like it was necessary going into the comp. We have a great coach, but at our level he’s more concerned about doing the best we can with the skills we have rather than focusing of weight cuts and such. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Nice bro! Two great sweeps in there - unlucky about the ankle lock! Onwards and upwards!
Thanks Bro!
Great video. You are actually inspiring me to pursue grappling further and maybe compete one day.
Thank you! I hope the journey goes well!
Why you do me like that bruh?😂😂😂 lol great vid man!🙏
Shame bro you looked spent at the end!
small mistake that's totally fine
Bro you did great. Awesome sweep from bottom. Took the back. You should be proud. Anyone can get caught in a roll. Head up
Thanks so much 🙏🏼
Love to see people testing themselves and improving through competition! Keep going dude! When you’re in the back and they’re on all fours, focus on getting them to a hip or flattened out before attacking so you don’t lose position. In terms of leg lock defense, you should try to hand fight and clear your knee or hip instead of rolling belly down it gave him a tighter attack by going belly down. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼
great video quality. great audio! You win some, you lose some--been there!
Thanks so much!
Tom this was awesome. Thanks for sharing your journey, takes some balls. Also, Adei @ 04:17 lmao 🤣 See you at training.
Thanks bro!
Well done my bru super proud of you keep it up 👍🏽
Haha nice one Tom.
Awesome Vlog!
Great video bru
