How is it that the best final boss fight in the Castlevania series is in a game that isn't Castlevania? If Konami ever releases a Demon Castle War game, the ending has to come right on the heels of this epicness.

I’m still waiting for them to add a feature where you can “rescue” random characters from a stage, then they follow you (kind of like the “option” in Gradius/Life Force) attacking at random.

i can't believe that of all games to create such an emotional and memorable moment that i'll probably think of a decade from now, it's fucking vampire survivors creating icons on its character select here.

I love that death straight up Alucard's you by stripping you of your gear and then the CD track?! Perfection. Only thing missing is I am the Wind during the credits.

Such an incredible DLC. Genuinely one of the most impressive things I've ever seen pulled off in such a simple game. Vampire Survivors is fun.

Best game ever, even being 2d sprites the character design is really cool... unlike concord :v

I love how at the end it looks like a cutscene shows the character select screen having characters added to it and you just sit there waiting for the cutscene to end only to realize that, no, the game ACTUALLY took you to the character select screen. It's wild just how much fun Luca had with making this game. You can tell with every little update.

If i hadn't played Vampire Survivors, i would easily mistake this with a fanfic fake game from early 2000.

I love when at 9:40 you get the Directer's hand like saying "You wanted Castlevania? Here you go"

A lot of us were pretty bummed when Konami basically got out of game dev, but they've turned out to be pretty cool about letting people use their property.

No lies here. It really is the best final battle ever. That's just amazing. Can't wait to grab this DLC for myself. ^_^

Even though it was done for humorous intent, there is something oddly heartwarming about Dracula going "Screw it. I'm sick of constantly being at war against you guys. Let's team up and kick some ass together instead!"
