see they both had the same idea of a vampire being able to concibe , almost like a miracle, only originals used that idea much better and actually gave an explanatio that inside the universe of the show made perfect sense, they didn't have to come up with "oh yeah, no one has ever heard about it , but actually there are other half vampire kids out there", no, they created a lore in which their explanation made sense even being a unique exception.
Idiot of course it did because it's a TV series vs a movie series.

I mean, Klaus is an original, a hybrid and more then a thousand years old... and Edward is just a normal vampire arround 100 years old not sure how much exactly but still.. In a fight the Cullens win easily, they are much stronger and have a better durability even much stronger than the diamond, besides that the Originals are immortal does not mean that they cannot be defeated. TVD vampires are often easily defeated by humans and in Twilight a human can never defeat a vampire
