My win rate was 50% last month. It was my best trading month. Win rate matters less. My average winner was 2.3x my loser based on the entires I can get with footprints.

Not sure about Webull, it could be their app and how they coded it. Try using the website browser? Sometime trading apps that aren’t built to run smoothly on macs won’t run the same as on a PC. It’s not about the Mac itself it’s about the way the software is coded.

I’m using the footprint alongside bookmap. But I know what you mean. I used to look at it from just the perspective of green bubbles vs red bubbles up vs down. The location matters for example if we are at a high and there’s green bubbles then they are getting filled by passive sellers, if it’s a high where there is a supply zone and the bubbles can’t move higher that’s telling me the passive sellers may be stronger as the green bubbles cannot break. If it’s a high and there is no supply and the buying is coming in and it’s holding then it’s possible that one can continue to move up and the aggressive buyers overpower any passive sellers and I would want to see any pullbacks hold for it to continue up.

Well you can’t ever really know with 100% certainty, you can have high conviction and higher probability of being right. I say speculate bc I’m reading the order flow, context and creating a thesis based on this info that the buyers may have an agenda to move price up since there’s such aggressive selling and it’s not moving down. So I still place a stop, but my risk is small at 2.5 points with a 10 point + potential gain. It makes it worth putting on risk given the set up.

Been a game changer for me! It comes down to context of the session and location and the aggressive vs. passive participants. (Watch prior video if you haven’t yet). The trapped sellers were aggressive sellers who can’t move price down so passive buyers are too strong absorbing their orders and once price moves up it puts the sellers in pain. The next large buying delta are aggressive buyers stepping in at a low where there was lack of interest, lower volume not a lot of selling and so the aggressive buyers took over in that situation. So 1 scenario is trapped aggressive sellers and the other is lack of interest at the low and then strong aggressive buying stepping in. I hope this makes sense!

There isn’t leverage on futures (like with forex). There’s a Margin requirement and the amount of contracts you can trade depends on how much money you have in the account. On a 10k account you will probably be able to trade up to 3-4 minis. However I would suggest to start small and scale up as you progress.

I standardize risk. I keep the amount I can lose per trade the same, and I adjust my contract size based on where my stop is, my stop is where my trade thesis is invalidated. I change the # of contracts to make sure my risk stays the same depending on my stop. Wider stop means less contracts, smaller stop means more contracts.

Some people can’t afford a live account, or they are in drawdown and have blown their live accounts. It makes sense from position to use them to refine your trading and fund a live account. I don’t agree with picking firms over a live account bc it feels safe or familiar. Everything is a tool, depends what your trying to build.
