Doesn't work on PS4. The sniper hitbox just isn't there.

Congratulations on doing this. For me, it never worked out. The very first scout you have shooting the 2 guys simultaneousy never survived his turn.

Thanks for this, was having a lot of trouble with this challenge and every other video i found was basically "heres how you beat this mission: have all the best weapons" which doesnt help me and isnt much of a guide at all, you cant follow a guide if you dont have the equipment that lets you follow it. This is much more helpful, anyone can follow it.

Thank you for uploading these! So many "guides" are like: "Just have max troops, endgame random drop loot, and have this character's ult proc every turn."

Got to say this video helped me out a lot, i improved few of the steps and positioning but got the general flow of battle from this.

Why there's no "level 1 troops no upgrade" playthrough of this game? I swear you're the only one who does at least side challenges like that

Ironically enough, all my lancers hit their targets, except for Largo. So much for being a EW1 veteran. The blond dude with the pompadour has Anti-Armor buff.

yo lo estoy jugando ahora y sin duda le han hecho algo a esta versión porque no se puede eliminar ese tanque de esta forma, aunque creo que podría hacerlo ya que al no perder a Largo, Rosie ni Alice, tengo mas puntos de mando que en el vídeo. Estaba haciendo este desafío junto a la de los lanceros para conseguir las armas, y solo me la han dado una vez, no se si es aleatorio o solo se puede obtener una vez, en cambio las zm kar 8 y 9 si dan varias, así que si no las dan y solo sirve para farmear experiencia, lo mejor es la escaramuza de exploradores que es la más fácil.

So far on the first turn, I've found it impossible to take out the enemy shock trooper and enemy scout in one shot from the middle scout.

I believe the hitbox on the tanks has been changed, I tried from various angles and couldn't hit it directly, it always hit threads even if I hit the top of the box. PC Steam.

I only have one question.. why and how did you get so meany ZM weapons? do you get them every time you kill a named troop holding one? like repeating the scout challenge to kill the gold gun?

What u did is hard, I just farmed up scout challenge. Then used the experience to lvl up classes and give Alicia zm kar 8

Yeah I managed to do this trial without a guide. I used Alicia (did exactly as you) Noce and Hanss (after trying with another shocktrooper in Noce's place and being destroyed all the time) I got a Rank D, but after getting the weapon, everything is easier. Rosie can manage by herself. Any one managed to get more weapons?

There's actually a glitch, if you kill the ace and touch his body before killing the others it'll get you another weapon. This applies to the other trials as well.

I don't think this works on the ps4 American release probably because the tanks are not in the same spot the rock actually only blocks 1 of the 3 tanks if I take out the other the third one is sufficient to kill a scout which shuts down the entire core to this strategy in 1 fell swoop.

How do you get 7 kar8?

it will be good if you have the Scout "Melville" for the challenge since he has the "Trooper Killer" ability, and his HP is quite high among scouts, plus he gets a boost from being full HP (Energetic), if you have unlocked his hidden potential.

@Zapen7 i dunno if you are still reading this in 2019, but i recently saw VC4 in Steam only to realize there is actually a VC1 released many years ago. so i decided to download and play VC1 first. and got through many missions with your through guide. from the Ruhm, to the Anti tank sniper rifle, to this Lance, and later Sniper challenge etc. Although i wasnt using lvl 1 troops. i power leveled most of them to lvl 18 (Scouts, Shocktrooper) and lvl 14 for the rest. and had Rosie with the Ruhm already by the time i played this. Though i didnt have the Kar 9 yet, which is why i had to use 2 CP to kill the Medium Tank in the Base, instead of 1 CP. but at least i had Rosie kill all the incoming Shocktrooper with her Ruhm interception fire, so it saved me some CP there also. I literally had your guide on 1 monitor and the game on the other monitor and followed it step by step, and pause the video after each turn. lol i know some gamers will call me boring for breaking the game, but its okay. not intending to replay the game once its completed anyway.

I put the Ruhm on Rosie... It's like watching a bunch of moths flying toward an electric fence.

Can someone explain why all the enemy troops open fire and almost instantly kill off my troops, when I activate them ?! How the f*** I'm supposed to beat this challenge? i can't do what is shown here...
