Born in 1962, I have enjoyed my hobby since 1971 when I got my first guitar
I like to do instrumental covers of songs and instrumentals the way I like to play them and with My Sound which I get from the Line 6 Podxt. I mainly use a Fender Stratocaster guitar.
I listen and watch many video's here on RUclips always in full.
This Channel was started September 2022, the year I turned 60 as a little diary of some of the tunes I like to play these days.
Plenty of time now I'm retired...apparently

Only You (and you alone) Guitar Instrumental (The Platters Cover)
Only You (and You Alone) was written by Buck Ram and recorded in 1954 by The Platters but not released. They re recorded it in 1955 on the Mercury label giving them a huge hit. Since then it has been covered by many including John Lennon and Ringo Starr

I cannot believe that this song is almost 60 years old. I think when I first listen to that song I was about 14 and 60 years ago would have been a year after the Titanic had sunken!!! You did a great job especially on the piano part which was doubled in speed on the original recording (that means George Martin played only the half tempo). Best regards Frank
