Very nice! Fintan is a cousin of my late mother, Carol Morony. And my grandma Patricia always kept his records on display in the house. Great to see you all doing well!

This is just so fantastic to me as a musician of 60 years playing in public, and I still am, and have backed all the big stars. I met Fintan Stanley in the Coliemore Hotel, Dalkey, around 1976 [I was 20yo then] [there is no chance he will remember playing El Paso with me and my friend Eddie Muldoon]. I had idolised his playing since he appeared in the Drake Inn, Finglas, around 1972 or so, and I think he was playing for Masie McDaniel then. I bought the 2 current albums straight away, and it did wonders for my own playing, especially the Freight Train melody which I repeated many nights in the Brazen Inn [Dublin's Oldest Pub], initially on the Farfisa Transicord, but I moved onto piano style keyboards around 1980. Fintan is a brilliant player and the teatment and arrangement of the various melodies on the albums [with Louis Stewart] is exceptional and world class. Hats off! Great to see talent runs in the family.
