Hello. Can you share link to this product. I try to find more info about clearsky st14. Good budget travel mount. I can use Chinese shops you can share local links.
Please share this software/apps download link
@@mehedihasan-yc9eb official reply from touptek:or customers who are inconvenient to use wechat to download or are located outside Chinese mainland, you can click the following link to download: we.tl/t-SqzcoKCcRq haven’t verified this link by my self though
@stephenshen2606 thank you very much 😍
Great job 👏 Looking forward to seeing more content from you 😊 I have ordered a Astrostation and am hoping for a delivery sometime early 2025
Thank you for the review. Have you tried connecting touptek camera to zwo asi air😅. Let me know if it works.
@@someyoutube No it doesn't work at all for now
@stephenshen2606 🫤that's bad . Thank you for checking this.
Do you know if there will be any plans to support eaa stacking mode?
@@telemonk I've asked, and they say they're working on live stacking
Do you know if will support flat panel control like a Gemini flat panel?
@@dilettantesinferno doesn't yet support these features
Great video. I agree with an earlier comment. Those of us in the US would greatly value your advice on some of the Chinese brands. Many of them are unfamiliar to us with info that is not easily accessible causing us to give up or ignore them. Keep up the great work!
Bravo for your english, it is very good ! Do you have a link for the mount ? It is hard to find, even on aliexpress the search is not successful.
@@Nolr I reported this issue to Clearsky studio. They say that their official website will be online in the near future
Hi Stephen - thanks for the video. Your english is very good. I have a suggestion for you. There are a lot of products in China for astrophotography - most of them are new (like ToupTek, ClearSky, Oasis, etc. These products are not known to us in the US - but they are excellent products. It'd be awesome if you can post videos of the local brands (such as this ClearSky mount) for the people in the US / rest of the world.
@@framinash thanks for loving my video! This video will be focusing on other budget friendly astro makers. I will post a new video about the Touptek Astrostation very soon, and I have more interesting videos in production. Stay tuned!
Hi Stephen - thank you for the video.
"Stephen"? What is your actual name? Do not be ashamed of your actual name. Use that. Not some "Stephen" or "Johnny".
@@sHuRuLuNi my Chinese name is kinda hard to pronounce in English so I prefer to use Stephen when communicating with English speakers
@@stephenshen2606 Well, the "english speaking" people should learn to pronounce foreign names. Simple as that.

Nice video. Very information. Don't worry about your English, you sound just fine. I look forward to more videos from you!
Hi Stephen. Excellent review! Your English is very good! It looks like ClearSky is a company to watch, and it will be wonderful if the ST17 becomes available outside of China. It will be perfect for young amateur astronomers & amateur astronomers who have limited financial resources! Two points I would like to add: (a) The laws for lasers & safety are different in many nations, so I wonder if ClearSky will have to modify its mount (remove the laser) before it can begin selling the mount in other nations. I agree that having an adapter for a Polemaster (or similar device) would be a wise improvement. (b) My experience with Rainbow Astro and ZWO harmonic mounts is that the equatorial mount is able to withstand wind, unless the telescope is too heavy or too long, however the tripods offered with many harmonic mounts are too light. As you know as a Physics student, it requires more force to accelerate a larger mass than it does for a smaller mass, plus the width of the base of the tripod (where the feet touch the ground) greatly affects stability. This is why the HEQ5 mount, its counterweight & its large metal tripod were less affected by the wind. It does help if a 'tripod hammock' is used between the legs of the TC40 tripod, and a heavy object is placed in it. Unfortunately, even with more weight on the tripod, the TC40 tripod is still not the best choice if a longer/wider telescope is used and it is windy. I have chosen to purchase a heavier carbon fibre tripod with a large spacing between the tripod feet to ensure that the mount can withstand some wind, and this has helped.
@@derekbaker3279 useful information about tripods,thanks a lot
Thanks for the video. Great to learn about this nice-looking mount. Please let us know how the auto guiding helps the performance
Sorry guys I recorded the English version, but there's something wrong with the file so I have to upload the Chinese version instead... Make sure to turn on cc caption. Sorry again😢
ARE YOU GOING TO STAY IN AMERICA?? NO PROBLEM. Going back to China is a waste of your freedom.
Thanks for putting the video together

I made my own harmonic drive mount for around 250USD . It has guiding accuracy of around 1 arc seconds under excellent sky conditions and almost no wind which is weather mostly here in my area
@@cjgv-i7h dual 14 or dual 17?
@@stephenshen2606 17 . Pretty cool right ? But the enclosure is not made of aluminum like AM5 or AM3 . It's made of Carbon fiber reinforced PLA . Printed it in a 3d printer
@@cjgv-i7h Do you have any photos of it or have you uploaded it over on any forums?
@@cjgv-i7h That's mind blowing. Have you ever thought about open source your design
@@stephenshen2606 whole design and idea was of this guy ( @Astro-philos ) . I just got lucky I got harmonic drives for 30 bucks and made it
So only spot that I saw this mount for sale as someone in the USA is ebay, and they're sitting at $1250, so $250 above the Juwei 17 listings on Aliexpress. Very interesting mount, will be watching for it to arrive on ecom platforms open to the US.
I've seen this Dual 17 and Juwei 17 mounts, they seem to be a very good value. A lot of people seem to be getting them in the US through Ali Express.
@@jqhartle yes quite a number of my friends use Juwei mounts, their mounts are also excellent. I'm very curious about the aftersales service overseas because those brands are, unlike big companies like zwo or sky-watcher, instead they are more like family shops
