I'll keep asking this until i get a legit answer from them. Why is Veilguard a Friendship Simulator, why did they water down the writing and tone? Seriously, it should have the same type of tone as ME3. They are fighting a damn elven god that wants to screw up the world. How is that different from the Reapers wanting to wipe out at least a dozen worlds with countless people of multiple alien races. Its mass extinction for a few of them.
