Up there with Shin Lim but on a totally different delivery style. Smooth as silk, smart and mind blowing
Thank you for your most kind words!! Much appreciated.
Beautiful performance :)
@@jeremykanetravis thank you very much!
custom deck that changes cards?
@@spittindatruthaboutrecords9421 bingo
It took me over a year, but I finally could think of a method to do it, if I am right there are not 52 cards, but more like 13.
@@gonzalogoded2089 freeze frame the spread
One of the coolest tricks - I love the same trick done different ways, makes it all the more mystifying!
The last one is especially impressive because the envelope is already on the table when Teller is shuffling... I would want to take a closer look at his dream card, though. I suspect it's a bit thinner than your average playing card.
Just a regular card!
Oh my gershhh that was a great trick!
@@quinnready2936 thank you!!
Such a clean act🎉
Thank you!!
Your tricks were as beautiful as you are. 😄
Ah, thank you!! What a nice thing to say.
There's some interesting edits by the producers. I get the sense that, between 4:50 and 4:54, the prediction envelope makes a sudden appearance. With 'creative' editing cuts like that, I can only surmise either a deck swap happened that got cut or a palming placement happened that got cut, and either way got cut because it was caught by the cameras. To be fair, Andy doesn't have to fool the cameras, just Penn & Teller. The cameras don't know how the trick works, so they don't know which angle is going to ruin the trick (thus, creative editing and multiple angles to try hiding the magic). It's only frustrating because I try to perform most of the card magic I see on FU, and the most outrageous solution is that Andy has 52 different cards prepped. The easiest is to have a deck swap with Svengali cards (Teller was doing a stack cut before the flip). Hopefully, one day, Andy will reveal the method. And, hopefully, it's not that he had 52 different answers to whatever card Teller pulled. lol
I’ve said this many times before, the edits were fair. What you saw is what teller saw. The only reason for the edit is teller shuffled for a really long time. Also, please take the speculation to the Reddit thread as I asked in the description above
Some tricks I figure out immediately. Some I don't. This one, I didn't care. It was just so perfectly executed.
@@IVthHorseman thank you!!
We saw him a couple of weeks ago, an amazing and mystifying hour+!!! If you can see him in person, it is an experience worth having!
@@ironleader3169 Thank you so much!!
I love this performance so much, I watched it like 10 times already. but I think I have a guess, please let me know if i'm right or wrong There can be multiple outcome of this trick, my friend Mark thinks so. Respectfully, I think I'm wrong but I have to try 😀
Yea its not a svę3n or mirage or any other amazing " deck " cmon u really gonna think u gonna fool these 2 awesome guys its getting annoying to hear everyone saying its this or that trust me i use a few "decks" and my fav is svĕěň love this performance
Thank you, it is definitely a bit tiring!
Love that sandwich routine and good hand coverage wow loved it I also do card tricks and this performance is awesome
Thank you!!
Beautiful "simple" trick, right in front of Teller. Bravo!
Thank you!!
Came across this, again! Miss you doing magic for me at work. 😂
@@damonstrikesagain aw, same my friend!! Been too long.
Truly genius u r ,awsm presentation,and btw u r too tall in height i am too short 😂,if u know u know
I usually don't respond to guesses, but no. You're wrong. Teller would have spotted that too while he was shuffling, no? For future reference, please take the guessing to the Reddit thread
@@AndyGersh woooow then it's simple u use black magic
52 cards, 52 pockets to pull from. That's how the last trick worked, marked cards. 🙂
52 pockets to pull from?? You're kidding, right?
Teller is probably the best slight of hand artist in the world so fooling him is next to impossible. Well done.
Thank you!!
very good performance, but...the 3rd trick almost impossible , that is why I think the trick it is arranged with Teller and the Production. It's not the first time when magicians arranged performance with the Productions, camera cuts, avoiding certain angles, and so on.
Was not arranged. What you see is what happened and absolutely nothing was planned with Teller or the crew. The edits don’t help me in any way. In fact, the only thing you don’t see in full is how much Teller shuffled the deck. He went on for a while. And, if you want to hire me for your event I’d be happy to do it for you live:)
@@AndyGersh obviously I'm not asking you to reveal the 3rd trick, but if you see what we see, it can be explained with 3 options: -camera cut and behind the scene trick, - very very risky chance to take for 1 card from 52 cards to match same card from the envelope after all the shuffle ( maybe 1 in 10000 chances), and no magician will take that risk - special ink that disappear after a certain amount of time and after shake, at the beginning it showing all different cards and after "the magic" all cards from the deck are kings of diamonds. note" I noticed that your note-card and Tellers card are different color accent when tv camera zoom to your note while you are reading loud, Teller already lifted the card, so basically we don't see the trick in full. America's got talent is the worst and so obvious show in terms of magicians working with Simon and the crew behind the scene, and I notice some involvements in Penn&Teller's show as well Don't get me wrong, I like magic, I like to be fooled by a magician, I don't want to apply logic in magic, but if you do a note written in the past with prediction in present, the thin line between magic and reality disappears and we start asking questions lol The first and second trick in the show are more "magic", but the third, if you as a magician don't touch the deck, then the "magic" is transforming in paranormal superpower, witch we all have but only in our.. dreams
@@mihaimih4669 You saw all there is to see, I promise. My offer stands. If you want me to do the same trick for you in person, for all your family and friends, you can hire me to do so!! I’d be happy to “prove” it to you. The best magic tricks seem truly impossible!
Random opinion of an amateur magician who loves cards: For the first two, even if I grant you the assumption that you're an unbelievable card mechanic (something I'm happy to do), I have a ballpark guess. Last one: If Teller right there is convinced it's not a switch, then you absolutely killed me. Not only do I not have a guess, I'm unaware of the moves that exist to make it possible. As a student of the craft, I have to give some mad props. I can often know a method, even if I'm not capable. You have either brilliantly disguised a move in a way I haven't seen, or are using a move I've never even heard of. I love it. Beautiful routine.
@@Bunbury42 Thank you for your most thoughtful comment. Wish I could share, but as you can understand I have to keep this one close to the vest! Happy you enjoyed it.
You're very welcome. I certainly understand that you have to keep it quiet. I hope one day you might publish the method. If you do, know you've got one buyer here. For now, though, I'm happy to just sit here in amazement. Congratulations on the fool.
@@Bunbury42 🙏
So coooool!!! My brain exploded. Also, Andy is so handsome and charming. His reaction when they said he fooled them was the cutest. 10/10.
Thank you for your most kind words. Flattery will get you everywhere.😎
Penn talking about how good Teller is at magic is always so wholesome. The respect he shows is not surprising, given how well they work together and how long they have been working together, but it's still a joy to watch... speaking of: A joy to watch... this trick was really cool. I have no clue how card tricks work, but I liked how this had 3 segments, one for each person on the stage and I'm happy for you that you managed to fool Teller. It's nice having such a cool trophy, but knowing you managed to pull off a trick so cleanly right under Teller's watchful eyes... that's just amazing.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! Much appreciated!
So cool man, awesome job 👍 very admirable that you honed your craft and was able to perform in front of P&T and all of America. And you killed it! Keep on keepin on brother
Thank you very much!!
Very very nice! Great work!!
@@user-gw6ye4fp9t thanks!!
I am not a robot the trick is very easy to pull off just hard to explain when he fool us all great job
Not sure I understand but glad you enjoyed!
@@AndyGersh just a attempt , not as funny as i hoped great show man
I was so happy you made your dream a reality. Well done!!!
@@xiaoyu88 thank you sir!!
I've watched the teller trick a dozen times and the only thing I could come up with is the card the magician is holding is able to be changed to any card thru some sort of technology. He has somebody working with him off stage who makes the switch.
If you have a hook up, I’d love to get my hands on one of those!
That's the least forceful force I've ever seen in my life :)
Thanks for watching!
One day that trick will yield the King of Clubs, if not already, and it will be astounding. lol
If you say so!
congrats!
Thank you!!
Is it just me or you guys can also listen to Penn talk and talk Love that man
Yes, ultimate carnival barker
That really was an amazing trick! It seemed so impossible! Hats off to you for your performance!
Thank you!!
Love the jump! 😊
Thanks! It wasn’t planned
The small talk until Penn & Teller finish up must feel extremely awkward XD
It’s difficult to have a natural convo. Hopped up, distracted. Alison was so warm and made it a lot easier.
Adopt a dog
Not sure I understand
@@AndyGersh I just love dogs
Wow!
Thank you!!
Sucks you couldn’t do it in front of an audience.
A live audience would have made it easier, for sure.
@@AndyGersh have you asked to come back and or have they offered? Do you have something else you think that would fool them?
@@youlikeitiloveit3747 They asked me, yes. I have an idea in development, and might it present it to them next season.
This was in 2016.
What was?

Just simply an extraordinary performance. And to have Teller inches away and still fool him, absolutely brilliant.
Thank you very much!!😎
The thing I like about this guy, is he doesn't over sell the tricks, even though I've seen these before, the new methods he uses are really phenomenal. The prediction at the end was really great.
Thank you very much!
I still have no idea how you did any of those tricks. But then I'm not a magician.
Thanks for the comment!
the patter was fire, if at the end you totally flopped, i still loved the performance
Flopped?
No 'Like' from me until you reveal the secret !
Haha sorry you know the rules!!
Mindblowing performance!! Congratulations sir!!!!
So nice of you to say. Thank you!!
I know how he did the last trick
Is that so?
@@AndyGersh He loaded the deck further before he offered Teller to do the last shuffle.
I am impressed by your trick, but more by your cojones. Teller's face said it all. Well done!
Thank you very much!! It was definitely intense.
Do I spy @Malinda (singer in the bar) in the intro?
I think you’re thinking of someone else. Sorry!
Loved it! Smooth and beautiful! NYC is a great place to do magic. I used to do street magic in Washington Square, and doing card magic on a jiggling subway must be the best practice ever. Well done!
Thank for the kind words! And yes, a nyc subway is a medicine ball for magic.💪
