    Unfortunately this plugin doesn`t work on UE5 onwards. So pretty much useless now. Shame you just let it go and didn`t update it!

    Is this plugin still supported/viable? As soon as I do the step at 2:20 my model flattens on "Y"...and whatever I try it just gets worse. Also, I tried to open the project folder but it wouldn't open in the editor ("PowerIk could not be compiled")

      Been looking for a solution for 4.27 as well. Considering Epic bought them out, I'm surprised this isn't getting updated. Maybe they've been focused on UE5?

    I have noticed that he character tends to skip a step or two while walking or running up or down stairs, is it at all possible to force the character to make contact with each step? For example, making sure the foot is planted on each step while traveling up or down staircases.

      What you described is by no means trivial and no something you get out-of-the-box from any IK system. Depending on the size of the stairs and the speed of the character you would have to dynamically adjust the stride of the character's feet and the playback speed of the animation to hit every stair precisely.

    You guys made an excellent product. It works so good for the game I'm making. It's such a luxury to be able to use this plugin for free. That's why I like Unreal Engine so much. Epic Games is doing hell of a job to make life easier for us. It's a humbling experience from the start.

    Just in case anyone else experiences this; with my custom character (A Dragon) the yellow diamonds as he calls them, didn't show up after compiling, but the IK worked so don't panic if you don't see them. After I Played in Editor, they decided to show up for me.

      Same happened to me as well. Some UI bug. But functionality works great! It is amazing how robust this solver it and how user friendly this plugin is.

      @@upevolutionism I think you need to enable debug, when at the diamond step if they don't show up, search that list of settings for debut and make sure it's on and make sure the size is large enough to see it.

    if anyone have a problem that the character is still flying .. go to 3:50 and you will fix it :) because you forgot to change the ground collision to the new collision

    I dont get it. I rigged up my alien character using an edited SK_spider skeleton in maya. I deleted the un-needed bones and reimported it into my SK_spider rig. it worked fine. I can pose my alien using the SK Spider skeleton.. but when I try to create my OWN rig, using my own SK_Mannequin skeleton now skinned to my alien.. I cannot get the same results as when I use the SK_SpiderRig I see how it all works, but what might I be overlooking ?

      nope... after i plug in all of my foot helpers to the power ik rig nothing happens when i move the helpers

    Doesn't work in 4.26:( Don't use unless this is available in 4.26. It has been so frustrating... EEE, don't attempt unless updated. Doesn't work:(

    I followed step by step, but the character keeps flying whenever I press play. is a DAZ character, and I have already added the Pelvis bone as excluded. I believe there is a problem with IKTrace. Can someone help me?

    I used the "To Rotators" on each of my Get Controls and I am not sure how to use them to rotate my gizmos:(

    Update on my success using Power IK: At first everything was very new and it was a challenge. I guess I might have named some of my effectors with Capital letters and things didn't work out but if you watch this video a few times and take it step by step and do what he says everything works. I think. I initially tried power ik on my own character and it didn't work very well. I tried again using the mannequin male and female characters and that was super easy. I have done it a few times and the steps are getting easier. A Tutorial video on setting up the second Power IK would be nice:)
