Minus reporting to Inquisitors since Chaplains deal with heretics among their ranks themselves, but then again he wasn't a Chaplain back in the first game as he is now.

Champlains are basically warrior priest to keep the chapter/legions pure and avoid anything corruption related, they also are spiritual and psychological support for their brothers of the chapter. Then to make sure the chapter follow the codex. Leandros fits that role perfectly. Yes they are a high rank, so a big promotion for Leandros as he was kind of a recruit in first game, but they are not above a Captain. That is a Reclusiarch, leader of all champlains within their chapter.

So, will Leandros reedeem to the fanbase or he will become a villain? Make your bets.
