Welcome to my channel! I'm a composer/songwriter/lyricist/pianist from Australia. Drawing influences from: classical, contemporary, musical theatre, and World Music (especially East Asian music), my music is inspired by both my own life experiences and other works of art (mainly film and literature). 【Home Sweet Home Piano Series】Foreign Lands, Rainy Nights
“Foreign Lands, Rainy Nights” is a piece inspired by a stormy rainy night while I was briefly staying in Melbourne years ago. The piece is divided into 2 parts. The first part is a brooding melody in G minor which describes the homesickness I was feeling during that sleepless night, while the brighter and livelier G major second part describes the city's traffic and neon lights intermingling with the wind and rain.
I am very honored that this track won the "Chrissie Sheppard Award for Best Single for October 2024" on One World Music Radio (UK).

I love her voice. It's beautiful, and she doesn't need AI to make it perfect. It seems so many vocalists, even famous ones, use autotune on every recording. It takes the human element out. Your piano playing is so good!

@keyamusica We are in agreement on this. It's odd , though, that we now have to call real music organic or raw. It has always been that way until now. Vocalist needed to train their voices. Now you don't need to practice anything. AI can do it all. Music is a talent and needs years to develop so you can be proud of what you accomplished. We will have 2 sides. Real music and fake music. Sad.

Many self taught players don't realize that playing the piano is more than just playing the right notes, it is the position of your hands that allows you play smoothly and emphasize the right phrases, and you are a wonderful example of how to play the right way and is enjoyable to watch!
