      As mentioned in the video we make a bijection from S^1\{(0,1)) to the real number so the question of forming image of (0,1) doesn't arise

      Differentiable function is continuous and continuously differentiable is two different thing. A function after differentiation may not be differentiable second time so it is important to know the continuity so that, we can go for checking differentiability second time

      Y = grand(m, n, "nor", Av, Sd) will generate a matrix of order m×n in normal distribution, with mean Av=1 and standard deviation Sd=√1, Variance =1. And I didn't get your 2nd question
