I work retail and no matter what type of bags we have, the customers will always complain.

Theres a difference between something being made of plastic that has multiple uses ir is used to preserve something and a bag that gets thrown away

I always take my own reusable bags. They don't break. They hold more items. I like reusable bags they have easy to carry handles.

Its like that here in nz either cardboard or reusable bags. Plastic is already here and thats okay we understand that but do we need to make more? Just chuck a few reusables in your back seat. 😂 Also i don't think its a LAW to bring a bag what if i want to carry out what i brought?.

So you throw some reusable bags in the trunk of your car and if you stop at the grocery store you use them is really not that difficult of concept or you can do like they do it aldis grocery store and just use the boxes off of the shelves.

Went to Florida didn’t bag my stuff and they stopped me at the door because they said it was suspicious my items were not bagged was like I’m from NY were not allowed bags and the lady looked at me like I was an alien. 😂

I'm in ny and have been doing this for years. Do you use and throw away 7 pr of glasses and 7 car dashboards a week? You'll get used to it. Lol

Even if plastic is in other things reducing the amount of bags we make still helps. Corporations should take on more responsibility instead of just putting it on us but bringing bags doesn't seem like a big deal.

Wa has been doing it for a while. Just pay for the reusable bags and bag the stuff. 1 reusable is worth hundreds of single use.

Pfft, i was living in San Diego when they banned plastic bags. I know, it's rediculous, and it wont do a lick of damn about polution, but i like using my own bags.

This is not new news…. Maybe in New Jersey, but not for a lot of other places within Canada and the US.

Honestly the best thing to help the reduction of use of plastic is to stop producing plastic products.

Go back to recycled paper bags.... 🤦‍♀️ they are way better for disposable use especially if you make your own heat 🔥
