The drivers side wishbone sheared when coming to a stop so had to repair it in the street! I decided to obviously change the passenger side one as well for safety as the car had been on the road since 2017.

Astra was a quicker car mo doubt
Spot on bro, took mine apart on the 2005 Touran sprayed with contact cleaner, waited for it to dry, put them back together. Cleared the codes and the fault is gone. Took less than 3 minutes. You are a genius thanks again....

Hi mate thanks watching glad the video helped you out! The vcds interface is an official one supplied by Ilexa uk. I have used the clones but the real ones aren't that expensive and all the updates and software are free.

Had the same problem and had to get the turning mechanism replaced, but just keep jiggling it it might end up turning (whatever you do don't force it!!!)

Hello! You answered above that back seats from zafira don't fit in Astra g... What about front seats? Do they need any modification?
@@ΜΙΧΑΛΗΣΠΑΠΑΖΗΣΗΣ front seats fit perfectly and especially for a 5 door hatchback because they don't have the forward tilt levers. I have zafira gsi seats in my 5 door hatchback. The only difference is the wiring loom which you can easily swap over.

I hate them bolts I changed em out for stainless steel 5mm allen heads with stainless steel m5 clips. check if flaps fit the prodrive would you fancy helping with a saloon/prodrive bumper mod😉

Just in case someone uses the same technique for a halogen bulb.... You shouldn't touch the bulb with your fingers as it will lead to eary bulb failure (micro oils attractive to the Halogen)
Exactly why I didn't touch the replacement bulbs!
Hello, i want to ask, what to do if my front door is sagging? How should i do it since there are no bolts that hold the hinges?
You would need to try lifting the door and seeing where the play is. Possibly the door pin is needing replaced.

@@markhobbins289 go to Halfords online and put your reg in I've found them to be very reasonable for good quality bosch/lucas alternators

is it a wireless camera? cuz i didnt see u connect it with the screen in the front
It's a Garmin bc30 it just needs 12v dc to activate from the reverse light feed. The connection between the camera and screen is wireless.
gsi fit alright with boot being wider than hatch? I still wanting to mod an e36 ltw and r33 spoiler

nah man a butcher would have made cleaner cuts that's a cowboy fitment
I routed my cables differently because mine had a chinch and some other plug on it, and this would be to complicated fiddling it through, so I went straight from Roof into the back so that you can see a little of the cable, not the cleanest but it works. The car is 25 years old and I think this solution suits this car. If anything breaks its definetly not the cables I put in it, but rather the cables where the plastic is already falling off

How comes you went back to the B6 shocks from the B14 coilies? B14s are some pricey bit of kit too 😅 im planning to go B6 shocks all around with some 30mil lowering springs on my 1.7 Astra G
I bought them used and they didn't last long lol started leaking and one of the springs broke 😕
Hello I have a leak and every month I have to fill with water but the water goes in the oil. The engine doesn't heat up. Do I have the same problem?
I would certainly change the oil cooler first and see if that solves it. I was getting an oily gunk mix in the coolant header tank and everybody said it was head gasket but it was just the oil cooler. Easy fix.

I did it once. When putting a new one back in was a really shitty job. The one from Amazon broke. I needed to find original from another astra. It went smoother.

@@parrot340 if there is excess movement and the teeth are worn down. You can try moving it from above the gearbox and if it slips then that's the issue. Removing it is easy enough and then just check if the teeth are flush.
