Not my mod. I just read guides and made them to a video. Hope you understood how to. Ive got these cables for sale as kits. 15€ each incl international shipping. =) with the aux connector. Going to buy a new camera stand. This was a cheap crappy one =( any tip on a good one for a note 9? =)?

Fixing this saab 9-3 98-03 fan resistor. Normal problem is full bow on the fan. This fixes that issue.

This isnt my mod, i just read guides and trained abit, and came up with some changes. When pressing the red button it will say " Telephone " on sid. For best sound without radio disturbance. Thanks to Visar merseli for providing this stereo. 😍😘🐧🐸 Easy, enjoy.

Hej, min resistor slutade fungera på på min 9-3og så jag skickade den på reparation men nu när jag sätter tillbaka den så blir den så varm att man inte kan röra vid det två metall sakerna som sticker ut på baksidan. Jag använde kylpasta när jag satt tillbaka den, är det normalt att det blir så varmt?

Awesome video. Thank you for showing the secret for getting that pin out at the beginning. It really helped with the tear down and cleaning!
Like you, I had trouble once I had it back together. Those tiny springs that push against the slidey pieces that let the lock know that there is a key inserted, or not, can be finicky once installed back in. I suggest that one holds the ignition tumbler with the spring part DOWN, let gravity place the spring in the tiny notch that is supposed to hold it. Some of the slidey pieces would not seat correctly and it prevented the ignition tumbler from spinning when nested in the housing. I used a bench top grinder to smooth them all out. You want to be careful and keep the ignition piece round. Once the key is removed, there is still plenty of slidey piece left to lock the ignition. I worked on it for over a day and then decided (after much thought) to use the grinder, and success! Happy ignition in the old 9-5. It's one of the things that Saab did that I don't agree with. It's not best to put something like an ignition on a horizontal surface, especially if you live in a sandy environment. Thanks again for the vid.
Hello at 1 min can you use the key to fully dismantle the cylinder with the pin. I just bought a used cylinder to repair mine but no key... How can i turn the cylnder in to fully dismatle it?

What exactly are you doing here? Simply adding a bit of solder and then sealing it forever? I hoping to save a few quid as well but like to understand what I'm doing. This fixes a malfunctioning unit?

@@pascalhogstrom2203 I had a good look at the existing solder and there was micro cracks present ostensibly causing the failure. I'll have at 'er, I mean its pooched anyway. Issue with my clunky , Soviet era soldering equipment. Might not be pretty

Grey wire is where to solder the aux. I got no aux switch, so no more radio for my client.

I just solder mine;) But got no car to test. I can not test radio with 12v and speakers? Do i put the radio just on radio and then put in own sound.
Best video ever, but. You use special aux port. What signal do you use? Cd in? Then you use bridge switch in the aux so you can still use the cd when unplug the aux. But if I don’t want cd, only aux. Do i solder the aux above the cut or below the cut.
Special yes. Radio sound. The aux port acts as a switch Put in aux cable and it cuts off the radio sound

hey, for my SAAB 9-5 2.0 1999, i've replaced the ECU and the TWICE CONTROL UNIT with new keys (all the kit) but my car still doesnt not recocnize the key (Key not accepted)... what can i do for this problem

I have a 2006 9-5 2.3T...the fan won’t turn on and I tried replacing the motor, still doesn’t work...I plan on replacing the resistor. Can I do this same repair to a 2006 9-5 resistor? Where did you get the replacement part?

In my opinion not a perfect job when he don't seal the PCB afterwards with new conformal coating. It's important to avoid small leakage currents due to moisture and later functional problems. It's especially important when the protection will be burnt away at all soldering points as he does here. Many claim that theirs refurbished alarm units had stop to working only a couple of months after a repair, and this may be a cause. Here is a better and more correct method for this job when conformal coating are used: ruclips.net/video/ibEWHXE3fSI/видео.html Otherwise it's a good job and video.

Miguel. The link you posted. Who do you think repaired his siren after it failed =)? ?:) it didnt last long. Not as long as my work. Almost 100 sirens fixed.
If so it's good. I don't know anything about what you doing more than I can see at the video, and it's the only I comment. The same applies to the other video I link to. And this about sealing the pcb is important for long-term reliable operation at the alarm system, and I'm pretty sure about anyone who watches your video does not know this. Cheers!
Hiya have subbed i have saab 9-5 2005 and the keys wont let me lock car, i resync by setting the alarm off and put keys in ignition then doors unlock and lock 2x but the key works for couple of days perfect then stops again please you are the smartest ive come across even on forums please can you help

Can you tell me where the blower motor RESISTOR is on 2004 Saab Linear Turbo....is it just a part that I can just unplug and put back in....that's what it looks like...but idk where it's located
