Did you have any other issues with it after replacing the battery? Im working on a customers same tractor same issue shutting down while running Im about to flush the coolant and put a new battery on and was just curious if that fixed the issue for you.

Man absolutely no hate at all.. but I just replaced mine and you can do it by simply taking off the two water hoses and then reaching in from the side and the top with a 10 for the top and an 8 for the bottom and you can get her right out of there. It’s a little more aggravating but it is a lot quicker. Hope this will help someone out.

He forgot to mention that the crank mark for top dead center has to be on the compression stroke. The crank turns 2 revolutions (720°) to 1 revolution (360°) of the distributor so it has to be top dead center of the compression stroke or the distributor rotor could wind up being 180° off.

Mine is a completely new carb,it starts up fine,but maybe 20-30 secs later it starts overfilling

I just bought one recently and used it yesterday on the tires of an enclosed trailer. It worked great and was really quick to go from 35psi to 60psi. I recommend this compressor.

You can replace just the hydro temp sensor. Don’t have to buy the whole tank. Ask me how I know.

If it’s a 1.5 or 1.6 L ecoboost especially the 1.5, the blocks are prone to cracking which would allow coolant to enter the crankcase and lead to overheating. And you know what can happen if a serious issue like that isn’t addressed immediately. I would assume the average owner wouldn’t realize the severity of that particular problem and most likely continue driving it not knowing a ticking time bomb that lies ahead of them.

I have a 1999 ranger 500 which I think is the same motor, and the thing runs really rich when I go downhill and starts fouling the spark plug. I reset the float level so it won't do that and now it runs too lean on flat ground but runs fine down hill. Do you know what i can do to fix this problem?

Prime has been sued several times for overcharging the cost of training and failing to pay proper wages for training. You should look into it, there may be a lawyer recruiting clients for your situation, or at least a way to get out of the debt

What the hell are you going to use your 3/4 inch wrench impact snapping your lug nut studs and yea your going to have to put a 1/2 adapter on it since most common socket sets are 1/2 inch dumbass. Also your m18 2.0 won’t get you far dipshit, you need to get a m18 6.0 high output for the best torque power. You don’t get a 3/4 inch wrench impact drill unless you are working on tractors or heavy equipment, What a fucking retard 🤣🤣

Had the same issue. Was leaking coolant through the weephole on the waterpump. Replaced waterpump and no issues.
