Batteries can randomly short out internally. U smell a rotten egg smell... and battery runs hot. Its toast.

What type of batteries, lead acid, AGM? You might want to check out the claims of the batteryguyz on youtube, claim they remove and replace electrolytes with their own brand, redo batteries, claim the new batteries electrolyte is being watered down greatly.

It sucks that they don’t make batteries like they used to. I mean I got a truck that had a battery that’s been in there since 1118 2018 and it was still working and still charging. Can you believe that but now you can spend $200 on a battery and it barely makes it a year and that’s when the warranty ends. Oh God this sucks they don’t make them like they used to.

Instead of using a Wix filter, how would it do with an AMSOIL filter?

This may be all well & good but are you taking in vehicle age over the years all engines wear & with VVTI & DOHC where the oil needs at premium to minimise wear.

I drink motor oil,it is quite tasty.

We went from 3k oil changes from now guessing im doing 4k change

3000 using conventional(if you can find it) 5000 miles on older engines with full synthetic(pre 2015) you can push to 7.5k on newer with synthetic only. If highway only, you can push to 10k but no more. We have a 2014 Camry with 450k miles because of 5-7.5k mile changes. Manufacturers are getting emission credits from extending the oil change intervals for using “less” oil and then it becomes our problem. It will last the warranty period but that’s about it on their recommendations

Pulled too many engines apart that either the oil was not changed or intervals were far too long. Nothing but, burnt and gummed up.

I change it in April and October. I only drive 3000 miles a year. I'll bet a lot of people want to buy my car.

oil change is not based so much on mileage it has to do with oil temperature between bearings. There is no accurate way of measuring the temperature in the bearing. Change oil and oil filter every 4000 miles do not use oil called 7000-mile oil you don't want to keep dirty oil inside the oil pan. Newer engine with VVT use light weight oil but still need to change it at 4000 miles. When changing oil at 4000 under normal usage you can get by using Penzoil or another common brand you see at Walmart.

so you use a certain oil, than use their service to check it. Do you think they are going to say anything bad about their own oil. ? May I suggest sending a sample to AMSoil and another company at the next change. Than do a stare and compare on the 2 reports with the same oil test. Your welcome.

Every 60,000 miles, it needs changed. Book it. I just did mine, again. Should be good till I hit 310,000.

Did you have any other issues with it after replacing the battery? Im working on a customers same tractor same issue shutting down while running Im about to flush the coolant and put a new battery on and was just curious if that fixed the issue for you.

Man absolutely no hate at all.. but I just replaced mine and you can do it by simply taking off the two water hoses and then reaching in from the side and the top with a 10 for the top and an 8 for the bottom and you can get her right out of there. It’s a little more aggravating but it is a lot quicker. Hope this will help someone out.

He forgot to mention that the crank mark for top dead center has to be on the compression stroke. The crank turns 2 revolutions (720°) to 1 revolution (360°) of the distributor so it has to be top dead center of the compression stroke or the distributor rotor could wind up being 180° off.

Mine is a completely new carb,it starts up fine,but maybe 20-30 secs later it starts overfilling

I just bought one recently and used it yesterday on the tires of an enclosed trailer. It worked great and was really quick to go from 35psi to 60psi. I recommend this compressor.

You can replace just the hydro temp sensor. Don’t have to buy the whole tank. Ask me how I know.
