Ne ho comprata una la stagione scorsa e ha un motore che tira come un somaro , bella da vedere...e rossa metallizzata ho fatto il tagliando e allineato i carburatori ed è perfetta.....mi sono fatto il regalo per la pensione,mi e sempre piaciuta da quando e uscita e con mille e trecento euro non mi compro neanche un girello per anziani 😂 erano 25 anni che non ne possedevo una e stata una bella emozione 😢

Tengo una fazer 98 en España con 570,mil km no se si alguien tendrá una con tantos km,es una roca muy fiable,yo no quiero otra

This bike has so much torque, even with less switching the gears, you would have the same speed and a much more comfortable ride. I own my R1150GS since 2002.

eigentlich ist die Varadero ein Geheimtipp. Wo bekommt man sonst für 2500-4000 EUR so ein schönes Tourenmotorrad !?

I had a 98 model from new the only gripe was the footpeg screw-in's are much too long and grounded really easy, I cut them in half and eventually took them off altogether and I could still ground the pegs, fantastic handling and pokey engine, great a budget buy. Tyre picky though Bridgestones seemed the best for me, Avon's suck.

I appreciate how here in the US, at least on the West Coast, the snow markers are made of flexible fiberglass whips instead of wooden or steel post that will kill you if you happen to slide into one.

ich hab mir auch eine letztes jahr für 1.5k gekauft weitere 1.5k an reparaturen und wartung (auch durch einen unfall), aber es ist ein so schönes motorrad. bequem sportlich und ein geiler Sound. Der motor hält auch einiges aus meiner ist mittlerweile bei über 90k km und kenne einige die schon bei 110k km sind. Viel Spaß mit dem Bike

I also have a 2005 V-strom and I thought about trying the Varadero for the same reason you did. How are you finding the differences between both? I hear they're a bit more confy, but also a little bit heavier than the Strom. In terms of power they are very similar, but maybe the weight or the gearbox ratio makes the difference?

With luck going to pick up one up next month if it's doing well, it had a small lowside with the previous owner, who sadly.. passed away due to guardrails being nasty sharp..

Thanks for posting this video. I have the same bike and started to notice a gearbox wine noise after replacing chain and sprockets your bike sounds the same so now I feel better

Hello there!!! nice video!! <3 one question : i am considering on buying a vstrom 650 new or used but the main concern is do i need traction control?? if not i could go for this older version/model if yes the budget will be higher to go for a new one for 2024... what is your opinion .. the main use will be in the city of Athens and sometimes trips with a passenger..
