This video is about a Simple Residential Concrete Drop Inlet
I don't blame you....fomes don't like vibrators 😊
Probably would have been better if the city had just paid you to replace the whole thing...
Nicccce
Not a bad video. It could have been longer and more detail about the process.
Nice.. weeping system behind the wall ? With block you can leave out bottom row grout for weeping or use that perforated corrugated tubing with the sock membrane... This wall had that ? Nice video 👍. SWEET looking wall
yes it has pipe and stone over half way up and also has weep drains every 20ft.
What areas do you work ? North Carolina franklinton?
Sorry Im in Alabama. wish I could help!!
Bad job
How much was the total cost of this wall?
Do you work in Northern NJ?
We are in central AL, it would depend on what the job is. It may not justify use traveling that far. may not be cost effective for you.
💯💯👍👍
Great work!! Did you guys add contraction joints as well?
Vibrating is concrete 101..
Absolutely
Gates forms are very slow, BUT they leave a great looking wall. Vibrate the shit out of them, they and take it.
Thanks for the comment, we have found them to be much faster than the traditional snap tie style of wall we had been using. For the money we have yet to find anything better. (we are always looking for a faster and more efficient way of forming. Any ideas please let us know) Thanks
@@amerrcorp.1217 Here in Northern Illinois most guys use Duraform (E-clips). They are fast, inexpensive and pretty versatile. A crew of 4 or 5 guys should be able to set and pour a 40 to 50 yard wall in 1 day.
Were the wingwall forms built from scratch, or are they premade?
We built them on site. They were built from forms we had previously used.

I know Alabama accent...

Hi, very nice! Say i boarded up a retaining wall like this at home, what cement mixture/ratio do you use?
We used a standard 4000 lb pump mix.
What’s the price one something like this per sq ft in your area?
Cost ?
We broke it down by each item. total job well over 100K
Thanks for the question.
