Apparently the Aramaic still retains the naked youth in Mark 14:51: ܘܰܥܠܰܝܡܳܐ ܚܰܕ݂ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܪܶܗ ܘܰܥܛܺܝܦ݂ ܣܶܕ݁ܽܘܢܳܐ ܥܰܪܛܶܠ ܘܰܐܚܕ݁ܽܘܗ݈ܝ܂ ועלימא חד אתא הוא בתרה ועטיף סדונא ערטל ואחדוהי܂ I recognize Alma or Olma as cognate to the word used for Parthenos in Isaiah 7:14 so it certainly implies a "youth". Sindona is cognate to the Greek and also the Egyptian word for Apron. ערטל still means naked as far as I can tell. The Greek word used here is Gymno. Am I missing something or do we still have Jesus getting arrested with a naked boy even within the Aramaic?

Does an Aramaic version explain what Jesus was doing with the naked boy in Mark 14:51-52?

My two questions are as follows number one. I’m leaving this as of 2024 and I’m curious if you’ll be doing any live virtual workshops or in person workshops in the United States. The virtual workshops could be anywhere. My second question is of all your books or any other books or translations that you know of which one has a body of work that is connected to the Bible itself so that I can read through it without having to stop to chance or interpret, but just actually read a more accurate based translation of the Bible. Don’t get me wrong. I love the chanting, slowing down the meaning of the words and I also would love a reference manual to the Bible that is more accurate to my heart, and your lens and translation has been the most accurate that I found, which resonates with my soul. Thanks again for what you do.

I am learning the lord's prayer in Aramaic with the videos from Neil Douglas Klotz, but when I listen to other videos the pronounciation is different. My husband said, how can I learn from someone who is not mother tongue aramaic....so I am wondering if the pronounciation from Neil is like a foreigner, or if other lord's prayers in Aramaic are another dialect? I want to learn the original language from Jesus, I want the power from the words.

Malkoota means kingdom. It does not mean queendom. There is no such translation from Aramaic. I speak the language and you do not have the right translation to most of your work

This helps me with my search in knowing God as that greater, broader richer power that I've always felt. This gives me something concrete to help explain to others what it is that I feel and why I've experienced miracles. It's also another sign that I need more education and study. I think that the God I serve and faith I profess deserves that.
