The structure of the movie is confusing. We go through the experience of not being able to memorize events along with the main character, constantly finding ourselves in the thick of things, trying to solve Leonard's riddle. But all these bits of information are extremely difficult to put together. We can not trust neither memories nor facts. They're all subjective. Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan have told us a story that unfolds backwards, transferred us into the body of the hero who lives by records and photographs, created a detective in which the villain is known from the very first minute, gave us the opportunity to feel like a man who does not know where he came from, but knows exactly where he is going. "Old boy" was the only movie I've seen, thus far, where the "sex" was relevant to the plot. Except for the b.s. fight scenes, it was pretty good.
