OMG, the 1968 version is such a glorious adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, the best version I have ever seen. :)
Best Movie Ever. And the guy who did the script really had some talent. I recently read Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida. Shakespeare deconstructs The Iliad. I was shocked and disturbed. Bill S was out there.

Actually, I think the story of Romeo and Juliet was a traditional 'Commedia del Arte' presentation in Italy. It was intended to be a comedy! Shakespeare saw the tragedy in the story, and voila.

I don't remember but I think Ivo wanted to get her back so he asked his grandmother to lie to Mili, so that she makes the trip to Spain and finally meets Ivo.On the picture, they're kissing because Mili accepted Ivo's apologies. :) I don't remember the number of the episode. But it doesn't happen before episode N°120 for sure. I'll check for you.
