I wish Bruce Boxleitner was willing to play Tron still. He said he walked away after years of Tron 3/Ares was in development hell. That being said, now that Tron: Ares is happening, let's hope he will return.

the show Tron: Uprising shows a bit of the repurposing process and what effects it has on the repurposed program. one character fights off the repurposing but gets consumed by it in the end. the fact that Tron overcame that and took action against CLU is... the feeling is indescribable.

Saying this could easily be taken as derogative in a different context in the real world, but I imagine in the context of video games, the user can control the hero to defeat the evil villain in the game. So, in a video game context, it is actually a badass line. Reminds me of all those hours I logged playing Mega Man games back from the NES days.

When i saw those dots the first time i watched the film my heart sank...i knew that was Tron...but knowing he redeems himself in the end and comes back to us...giving the ultimate sacrifice...im just a simple math and language program but thats something to strive for
