Tantalum Capacitor the wrong way around

This is my first steel repair if this type and I don't know the proper terms for the parts, but hopefully the visuals are good enough to get you through. If not Mike at Mullen is very helpful.
This is exactly how mine sounds, except way way more high gain. Has a gated sound. Really bad. This pedal it suppose to low gain, mine is extremely high gain
Tantalum Capacitor soldered the wrong way?
A before & after would have been preferable.
If you are running it on a battery put on a new one.
sounds like a bad transistor or something around it
