Pre-approvals at lower rates are all used up now and I wouldn't expect an increase in demand, especially with the higher for longer interest rates. I'm seeing that condo listings are lingering for longer and longer, and demand is drying up. Numbers are looking very similar all across Canada, supply is way up and sales are way down. It's looking like we're about to enter into a strong buyers market in some areas for a long time, and as soon as people notice the trend of downward prices, demand will dry up even quicker.

With all the detached prices falling and in the media, I’m wondering maybe all the attached owners are trying to cross over to detached. If you can sell at good high price, then why not move into a detached with big discounts. If nobody wants to buy my attached, I’ll just sit and wait for that one buyer. Nothing to lose.
