Hi 👋 the one I bought is 49mm. I’m not sure why the link brought you to 37mm. If not you can try to search “Lens filter holder for Insta360 ace pro 49mm”. If your macro lens is 37mm then you can buy 37mm lens filter holder. The macro lens I bought was 49mm so I purchase the lens holder the same size as well which is 49mm. My GoPro hero 7 black with GoPro labs records better than the ace pros and the OA4 my buddies have If you guys hate GoPro because if there antics.. and you need and action camera.. the OA4 is better than the ace pro

@@cherylpranita many on social spaces have commented that from hero 9 and up .they started experiencing overheating issues and loss of footage... I am on a hero 7 and don't experience those issues.. I have ride with buddies that have the GoPros mentioned..runcam akaso DJI insta360 and Yi cameras The GoPros were the best for color and stabilization
How could I use this underwater with protective housing?....I took a ohoto of octopus and it is just too far....to small. I took a photo at about 40cm distance....to far.....
Sorry 😞 eventually they don’t have protective housing for this lens if want to use underwater. From my understanding by using this camera for sometime now, this is only suitable for vlogging our faces and also for action rides. You can buy this lens but then it’s truly not recommended to use underwater due to no protective housing for the lens.
for underwater dive case, you'd need the lens on the outside of the case. I think AOi was trying something to make their Gopro accessories compatible with Acepro

so for example you are using the camera for vlogging and you are using a close up lens so the focus is on you, but if within the same recording you wanna show the surrounding, the place where you are at, you need to remove the lens? so you need to constantly put it and remove it to change the focus?
Correct. So basically this is an action camera. It only detects your face but not an object. If you put the lens , the surrounding will be auto focus and your face or an object will be clear focused. You will need to on and off take off the lens to record if you want to record a close up and also the surrounding in one take. I bought this to do food review but my bad I never really did my research beforehand. Basically it didn’t focus the food that I was showing and it only focuses my face. If you want to use for your daily vlog then it’s suitable.
Really not a deal breaker considering it can be paused if I'm not mistaken. I'm really wanting the ACE or PRO but am torn on the price. Just thinking of the ammo I could get for the total price tag and is their really much if a difference between the ACE and the PRO that I would notice. $300 vs $400-450 is definitely something. And then everyone says don't buy the ACE it's a gimmick. 😅 I reckon I'll just have to bite the bullet as they say and just snag something.
