Thanks for posting this. I saw Bob's name on a list of deceased skaters looking up someone else. On one of my better days I might have remembered him for dressing up in full motorcycle leathers and helmet downhilliing"coffin style" on a "sled" which was a massively heavy body length board. It took mention of him as a champion downhiller to remember that much.

Great video, Steve was amazing and was a huge impact on my young life. I do have an animal correction for you, the big snake isn't an anaconda, it's a reticulated python, the longest snake in the world, they can get up to 22 feet long.

cool vids man. do you have any footage of the old pier by chance? that was my favorite spot to surf, and eat back in late 80's to mid 90's. I also worked in the restaurant part of the pier.

Went to college with Marty. We lived in the dorms together and even climbed in Yosemite valley together. He was a joy to be around and he never talked about Skateboarding. One day We were out in front of the dorms and I commented that I wish I had brought my board to college. He said he had his here and went and got it. I was shocked to see he had his own model Dog Town Board. Had no idea he was pro skater. Super cool guy! The best!!! Great memories! Oh and if you see this Marty thanks for saving my ass on Glacier Point Apron.
