Obsessed with three channel sequencing with Rene 2, recording chords in different timbres with Morphagene, and pretending to be an orchestra.
Two Wanderers - Roland JX3P, Roland SH-101, Octatrack, Make Noise 0-Coast
Просмотров 2192 месяца назад
Octatrack sending two channels of midi to 0-Coast, converted to gates sent to sequencer clocks of the Rolands. Each Roland plays a one note sequence, and live key transposition provides melody and bass movement. Octatrack also live samples Rolands as pitched flex machines and does mixing and effects.

What records you got over there?
All kinds!
Very nice Mellow vibe ❤ ✌️
A chaotic crescendo. Nice
CRAZY GOOD ❤ 🔥 subscribed ✨️ 🙏 MAKE that N0ISE
🙏
Great vibe, cheers for sharing! Love my O-coast
Thanks so much!🙏
What are you using the octatrack for ? Just effects ? I notice a 10 step sequence.
Thanks for listening! Octatrack is sequencing 0 Coast, which is clocking Shared System. It's also mixing, adding effects, and probably sampling both 0 Coast and Shared System on flex machines.
@@nickhomenda great work !
Fun stuff!
Rad rhythms, dude!
Thanks so much! 🙏
Super fun sounds! Very interesting listen
Thanks so much- this was part of a longer jam where I was surprised by what was unfolding...
Nice chilling vibes here! 😃 Keep on the good work! 👍👍

My wife: What is that you're playing? I really like it. ❤
Thanks so much!
Lovely ambient work. Subbed. Have the same MIDI adapter.
Thanks so much!
This is a very compelling song! Thank you!
Thanks so much! 🙏
This is really cool! Nice jam
Very avant-garde and very beautiful! 🤍
mysterious and beautiful sound🤍
Love thes chord progressions so much with that synth patch - some old school Twoism-type feeling. Would love to know what scales you quantized this at throughout!
Woah, and the stabs & texture you turn this into later on are gnarly!
Thanks- I think it was alternating d minor, Eb Major with some jazzy variations, suspensions, etc. Also sometimes the Echophon up a fifth to spice things up.
Loved this! ❤
Nice!
Really nice! 👍
This sounds amazing! What are you using your octatrack for here?
Thanks! Octatrack is sequencing both 0 Coast midi channels, final mixing, most effects, and flex machine sampling and playback of voices in different pitches throughout.
I like how the descending tones ended up creating suspended chords that then resolved. It made the transitions naturally musical and not just random.
Thanks, Dan!
That was great.
Thanks, Dan- this one turned out a lot weirder than I anticipated... the joy of modular!
Great stuff. I actually put this on in the background and both noticed and didn't notice it.
Lovely work on this Nick !
Sweet thanks for sharing! I put my 0-Coast into my bus case because to me the timbre of the Coast is one of a kind. Never had such a "singing"/musical VCO in the last 10 years. I had Moogs, Elektrons, Korgs, Yamahas, Rolands, Dreadboxes... but the Coast remains my favourite.
Thanks, I feel the same!
nice!
Happiness! 🙂
Love it! Reminds a little bit of Stretta (Matthew Davidson) who was my favorite local modular artist but you’re giving him a serious run for the money! Bravo! (I know I know it’s not a competition.)
