Haitians did not bring voodoo into Louisiana actually there was voodoo in Louisiana in the early 1700s which came from the first Africans that were trafficked directly from AFRICA ( we have the slave ship manifest ) into Louisiana in 1719 ..this is WAYY before the Haitian revolution was even thought of.. now Haitians did ADD TO the voodoo that was already in Louisiana when they came in late 1790s and early 1800s.when you speak on things like this you have to be historically accurate

We also have white creoles of French Spanish German or Italian descent we also have Asian Louisiana creoles descending from the Filipino migrants that came into Louisiana before the unites states decided to buy it… Louisiana creole is in no way a race based ethnicity..any race can be Louisiana creole as long as you have family that was born in Louisiana before 1803. Its lineage based as Creole literally only means native born 😂😂 African American is a ethnicity and creole is a separate ethnicity so Beyoncé is bi ethnic she’s both ethnically African American and Louisiana creole

Cajun is a very specific bloodline that only 100 or so Acadians was kicked out of nova Scot is by the British … there were white creoles here before the Cajuns showed of in the 1760s.. so of a French speaking white person in Louisiana does not have direct lineage going back to the Acadians of novia scotia then they are in fact not Cajun they’re just a white Louisiana creole … as the term creole was also used in colonial times to distinguish white peoples born in the colony of Louisiana vs the ones born on the homeland of France Spain Germany or whatever…historians with phds can corroborate what I’m saying 💯
