That was a net-bait finesse worm. But i use any brand that has the dark purplish color with glitter.

They have some cut bait they provide. Squid and mullet. We tried bringing some shrimp but mostly just got picked from the hook.

@@easonadventures the reason I was asking is because I feel like their squid seems thicker than the stuff we buy for bait. It’s hard for fish to steal the bait. I was wondering where I can get some of their squid.

Yeah, that's all i usually get since it's so hot at the beach that time of year. Gives me something to do that's more fun than just sitting there, though.

That rooster tail is great for finding fish. Might not cat h a huge one but always seems to do the trick

@Tomcat7688 anywhere on the beach you are allowed to fish. Sunrise before the people get out there is best. It gets too crowded by 11 or 12

And here I was thinking I had fun! I did just learn about split charters and I'll definitely have to look more into that. Obviously the fishing would be better than these type of boats. I would guess they would still run about double for a full day charter right?

Slightly bigger but basically. They do taste great though.

About all you can do unless you get a private charter. They are just too expensive. Still a Fun way to get on the water.

Yeah unfortunately private charters are just too expensive. I agree you get what you pay for. Had plenty of action though and the white snapper are delicious!

You know what though, it's fun to do. Avoid the everyday bs, relax on the gulf, and catch fish.

Do you have a boat/canoe? If so chattahoochee river or the george h sparks reservoir(never been but want to go) or lake acworth. If not there is a lake by county services next to al bishop sports complex. Gbs lake is a pay to fish lake. Other than that I'm normally climbing in creeks and fishing or sneaking onto apartment complex lakes.

I use Google maps a lot to just search for bodies of water near me. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it's a bust.

What guide did you use to plan this trip?

@jasonarrowood3349 no specific guide just a bit of research. it was the bartram trail guide book from amazon. I just parked at the southern terminus and left my vehicle (there are no fees) we had a shuttle driver that I found through Google. His name was Sherpa Al. I think it was $110.

Ideally an 8 ft rod or longer with 30-50lb line. Braided line gets through the wind and waves better. My penn fierce rod and reel combo 9 foot is affordable and casts really well.

This is lake jackson in Marietta. I have had someone else say the same in a previous video as well.

No, it is a private pond. I don't do much fishing down there. I was back home for a vacation and just had a few minutes to throw a bait around. I always find places by searching on Google Maps, so try that.

I'm sure they have their spots they hit over and over again. Somewhat limited by how far out they can get in the big slow boats. Private is where it's at if you canbut its still fun.

We were not given any I dont know if they would have any by request. All 3 of my children were fine and it is a very slow moving tour where you are seated at all times.

Yeah I get to fish there with my buddy since it's a private lake. Has some good fish in the lake and spillway.

Yeah its a nice walkable lake. I have had luck downtown at Lake Clara Meer in piedmont Park too.
