Did you know Saks 5th. had a sale on Prada sneakers for 2 weeks. They sent out emails for the private sale. I think that sneaker went on sale 40% off. Also Nordstrom has a few Prada sneakers at 55% off. I was able to purchase the Downtown sneaker in Purple/White for $481.50 down from $1050.

I agree of the excessive branding in Prada sneakers. Sadly, very few brands are subtle with their logos.

I was able to see the aud prices on the Prada website just by googling. Its actually more expensive.

@@houseofmarksman Thank you. I saw the price of the Prada sneakers I was hoping to buy in Australia. $1640 AUD is about the same as the USA. I was hoping to get a good deal there.I checked the prices for London and Prada isn't publishing them online.

I saw that Nordstrom sale. Great buy! Nordstrom always has the best deals.

I re-uploaded this video, because Nordstrom now has them on sale for 40% off ($473) in case anyone was in search for them for a great deal. I never wore mine. As you can see they are still new. Each time I tried to wear them out, I took them off. They run too narrow and I didn't have the patience to break them in. So a few days ago, I went back to Nordstrom to see if I could at least exchange them, and they allowed me to. Where did you buy them from? Sometimes, stores will take them back for an exchange. Try a heel pad to add some comfort. I lace mine loose. Otherwise, try to see if you can return or exchange them. Let me know the outcome..Thanks.

@dapperlygrungy3189 I got them from Mr Porter. I've worn them quite a few times though so I think an exchange would be unlikely. Hopefully they're broken in by now though! Will be able to tell next time I wear them for a full day.

@@tommorris8111 Keep me up-to-date. They are nice sneakers and I like the rich creamy color of them. I just wasn't a fan of the seal logo on the sides. I wish AMcQ left that out and kept it simple like he did with his first oversized sneaker resembling the Adidas Stan Smith - no huge logos, but his name branded only on the heel tab. Good Luck.

​@dapperlygrungy3189 I'm gonna have to sell them. They seem to be causing me a lot of discomfort lately, strangely seem to be affecting my knees as well. I took them to NYC for a few days as my day time pair and I had to stop wearing them, was in agony. Like you said I think they're just too narrow.

This purple color is very striking, however its difficult to style. I'm not familiar with the Prada Polarius. I googled it and have yet to see them. I'll try and look out for it. Should it appeal to me, I'll do a video. Thanks.

I should have done a spoken review of these sneakers. I'm new to all this. Soon, I'll change things up and start speaking about my future sneaker purchases. Anyway, the in-soles of these sneakers offer an extra padding. They feel like pillow tops. I am so impressed by these sneakers. I also like the minimal to no branding. I re-ordered a half size down. I'll see which fits best. These sneakers are "keepers". Thanks.

An update to this Prada Prax 1 in Navy. One of the rivets that holds the triangle plaque snapped off. I am so disappointed. I returned mine at Nordstrom. I called Prada and they told me I had to bring the shoe in for inspection to get a quote for them to repair it. Because I didn't buy these sneakers from Prada, I would have to pay for the repair. It would take 3-4 months to get them back. Had I purchased the shoes from Prada, they would have offered a 2-year warranty free of repairs. I don't think I am going to repurchase these sneakers. I've been inspecting my other Prada sneakers with the same triangle plaque and it all looks good. I think this one navy pair was a random defective sneaker. Where are you buying yours from? I am familiar with the new triangle pattern on the newer Prax 1's. Its basically the same as the one I have. The difference is the triangle pattern on the nylon. I use a product called Jason Markk to clean all my sneakers. I use a wash cloth apply a small dab of the cleaner and clean the sneakers. I lightly and gently use the same cleaner for the leather. The white soles require more hand work, but I expect them to get dirty since they are white. I think you made a good decision getting them in black. But be careful with the black one's. My black pair, the leather has a heavy dye. My white laces where the eyelets rub against the laces are black because of the heavy dye. I'll try and speak in future videos. I am new to RUclips so I am not too confident being in front of the camera. But Ill work on at least talking about the sneakers.

Its not an uncomfortable sneaker. They are a structured sneaker. Lighter than the Balenciags. They are actually on sale now for $78 at Nordstrom. There's a link of this sneaker in the "description".

They do run narrow I still went true-to size and even with a wide foot size. It still offers a good fit.

They are very Balenciaga Runner-inspired without the high cost and these are not as oversized. They are a chunky sneaker, but not as huge as the Balenciaga. They look good on.

I don’t feel the soles are any higher than say, Nike or Adidas. However the one difference is the bounce in these AMcQ soles.

They look good. I rotate my sneakers so I don’t wear any of them out.

If I were to go back in time, I think I’d get the White pair with the Parakeet Green soles.

I may start reviewing these sneakers. My apologies for lack of audio. I’m new to this. These sneakers run narrow. I bought them in a size 11.5US. They are true to size. I wear 11.5US in Nike and Adidas if that helps. Try and get them at Nordstrom. They are flexible with returns should they not fit. And you have time to think about them since Nordstrom will not hold you to a return window like other stores. They are comfortable. I just don’t like the seal logo on the side. I wish they didn’t have the branding like the original AMcQ Oversize sneakers that resemble the Adidas Stan Smith. Other than that, they offer bounce in the soles. The soles are very cushy.

Size 11US

These specifically run true to size. My first Marsell Boots, the ones with laces and a zip in the back, those ran one size big. I went with 10US. I did a vid on this. I’m usually an 11 in these types of shoes and I went with an 11US in these boots you commented on.

@@dapperlygrungy3189 thank you! i ordered these a while ago and damn these were massive, i was hoping for them to be a bit slimmer but the sole is like a triple s balenciaga.

@@PawelSmerdjakow They kind of have that Bottega Veneta Lug Boot vibe. Marsell boots are definitely chunky. Sorry that the chunky clunky style of these boots didn't transcend through the video.

I usually wear 11.5US in Nike and Adidas. With the Prada Downtown Sneakers, I went with size 11US/10UK.

It’s actually very comfortable out of the box. There’s no breaking them in like other designer sneakers.

By the way, the new version of the Prada Prax 1 comes in a black sole. I wish they had that when I purchased mine. I like that the soles are not completely black; just a thin part of the soles that touches the ground is black.

My favorite are the Marsell Parrucca Boots I wear out at nights and the Prada Downtown Sneakers in the panda colorway. As mainstream as these sneakers look, resembling the Nike Dunks, they are so attractive on.
