As if we are talking about two completely different Gods, with completely different promises. Dispensationalism is the ultimate consequence of a misunderstanding of Daniel 9 ... as a completely fabricated futuristic gap of the last week. It is scary, how by domino effect, just one misinterpreted chapter in the Bible, (or even one verse in particular) can cause the final great deception, of global proportions. If we know who put the curse on anyone who studies this particular chapter, the agenda and whom it comes from ... is more than obvious. Daniel 9 is the ultimate key of the complete Bible eschatology.

I don't understand why you people don't study the Bible. God makes it very clear that the two witnesses are Judah and Israel. (forget the antichrist Jews) Isaiah 43:10 "Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me." We don't need to guess who these people are. Go read the parable of the two sticks, Judah and Israel are reunited at the cross and the enmity between the two has been broken and the Two Nations are one now. Judah and Israel are the two witnesses.

Glad you mentioned the letter to the Romans. The heart of the matter is chapters 9-11. They were a mixed congregation and if you read this letter, from beginning to end, from the perspective of Paul addressing the early stages of Replacement Theology then it make a whole lot of sense. They did not heed Paul’s warning and eventually became the Roman Catholic Church.

Jesus doesn't say, "on this revelation..." He says, "On this Rock...". Jesus spoke Aramaic, so he actually said, "You are Cephas and upon this Cephas, I will build my Church. The Apostles become the Pillars of this Church as pointed out in Ephesians with Peter being the principal Apostle, the Rock. Jesus is still the head of the Church with St. Peter being the Rock and foundation. This interpretation of this passage goes back to the early Church, so don't just take my word for it! :)

We as Christians need to be careful . The first verse that came to our mind when I heard this was ,"Take heed lest ye fall," We were in a EVF church for 11 years. It was all about Grace. There were men in the church that were into porn and one was arrested for sexual molestation of his children. The leadership did nothing and no church discipline.
