Hiii have u ever heard about.... Madras cafe 2013.....?????
Inside Out is one of my favourite Pixar movies and this movie lived up to its sequel potential! I loved the inclusion of Anxiety and how they continued to give layers and nuance to each emotion’s purpose. I also loved that they gave Riley more of a character in this one. The wit and humour were as sharp as ever. Reminded me of the classic Pixar I grew up loving. Great review
Indian army killing Indians
Try ...madras cafe... 2013...i m sure u will like it... Good luck
One month no reply😮😮😮
Raj is a good friend.
I am so disappointed in this movie
Watch DANGAL movie. IMDB 8.4 ROTTEN TOMATOES 90% **Most loved Indian movie in China and korea.** It is on Women empowerment and sports. Based on true story. **It is once in decade type of movie.** This film should be taught in Film schools. Watch it. You'll be blown away
Zerocalcare speaks romanesco, and he actually speaks like that. The author is voicing the character
Hey, thanks for taking the time to watch zerocalcare work, but you should watch the whole series because the story develops, and it is extremely bittersweet, and it deals with actual political themes Edit. Some of zerocalcare's books are available in english too
I heard it was nothing but native murder porn.
🤭 Promo*SM
Try "the lunch box" movie
Laughing too much
The coffee shop scene invented the meet cute. It had to have
Except for the language and ethnicity of the massagetae the culture is quite well represented , and the story at least the end part which Herodotus wrote about are also not far off. The trap was better done in the original story though. And the histories by Herodotus are well worth a read for those interested in the Scythian like cultures. I think it is definitely possible to make good stories set in the steppe in these cultures using templates similar to westerns or kurasawa.
😍😍😍👏👏👏
Riley's dad here! First of all, Riley is correct that her mother and I would probably approve of whoever she brought home. I say this with confidence based on a lifetime of watching her make good choices. To put it in perspective, when we go out to eat and I can't decide what I want, I just tell the waiter/waitress that I'll have whatever she's having. Riley exemplifies good choices. To put it another way, it's hard to imagine she would put up with any nonsense, so whoever she brings home will be vetted and approved of before mom and I are introduced. Secondly, Contrell is correct when he says "Listen to your father, your father knows best". I love that line and I love Charlie's support. Funny how Riley and Sara are quiet except for a little giggle; that's a sign of not wanting to admit Contrell and Charlie are right, but knowing they will lose the argument if they offer an opposing view. Lastly, and I'm serious when I ask this question: Since you started doing this podcast reviewing movies, do you find you're not watching the movie for pure enjoyment anymore? Rather, you're watching with the idea you're going to have to remember specific things and have definitive reasons why you liked it or didn't like it? It seems like watching a movie has become work for all of you.
Contrell here...I absolutely still love watching each and every movie and show. I told Riley that once it started to feel like work, I wouldn't want to do it, but it's been so much fun and we love your support!
What is the room you're in?? Block walls, some pictures behind Contrell, what appears to be a tapestry behind Riley, the door is reminiscent of an interrogation room, and mismatched chairs in the foreground. In addition to all that, there's a projector at the end of the table which indicates multiple people gather in this room for presentations.
I re watched it for a second time last night and I enjoyed it more On the second viewing the part where the alien returns with the Asteroid reminds me of when a child takes something that doesn't belong to him and his parents make him return it
I went to the jungle looking for entertainment, but I should have stayed home and watched this movie instead . . .
I wasn’t a huge fan of it but I really enjoyed the action and Mirage stole the show.
The only watchable Transformers movie is the 1986 animated one and it has lots of issues. Paramount needs to reboot the franchise as all the Bay-verse movies are hard to watch trash and ROTB is probably the worst out of all of them. I am excited about next year's Transformers One animated movie coming out next year.
Hey great show love to here your guys prospective on thus movie. I saw this in at the drive-in back in 1980, such a great place to see movies! One of my favorite movies of the 80s for sure! If you guys need ideas on movies to review my I suggest: The Warriors Excalibur Big Trouble in Little China
My favorite movie!
pancakes and vanilla ice cream for your gallbladder ectera
Y’all feel like the Aladdin is better then The little Mermaid? Hell nawl
U dislike tbbt but u like this trash?
There is alot of diversity in india and the history is very complex ,I don't blame the girl but she could not explain the reason why indian shoot indians as most of people don't know only Northern side people attached to relatively gras root india know about complexities of Indian history as mostly people in big cities go to English medium schools they don't read about this stuff. In reality the empire was able to capture and rule india for so long, by using the diversity against India the soldiers brought that day were not from Punjab (state of massacre) instead were most brutal ethenicity from northern most parts with historical troubles with that area and that was the framework for British Indian forces they always employed people from completely different areas and india is such a hugely diverse country that even now people can't understand eachother from distant states. They have always abused the differences and lead to huge divides in various sections of societies by making separate laws , prerequisite on the basis of religion, cast, language which lead to segregation of various groups who were living in coherence under same roofs for centuries. Another reason is the difference of study syllabus for different states as this was very imp event for Punjab's history ,so we study about it in history classes similarly every state has their own jalainwala bagh and freedom struggle they read about them. That's why actually a huge portion of India even today don't know about him.
Guys pls watch "Andhadhun" movie it's a great fun Indian movies , pls if u can have a watch along it really boost ur viewership really fast 👍🏻 luv
U guys need to watch "Andhadhun" it's a fun movies u guys would luv it for sure❤️❤️
Really enjoyed spending time with u guys👍🏻
This movie is really awesome. It deserves more applause
The podcast mentions that the soldiers who carried out the Jallianwala Bagh massacre were Indians. However, this is not quite true. General Dyer knew that Punjabi police or any local person would not be willing to carry out such an order, so he deliberately called in Gurkha regiments from Nepal. There were 25 Gurkha soldiers and 25 Baluch soldiers in the regiment. The Baluch regiments were from Sindh, which had already made up its mind to be a separate nation at the time. This was due to British policies in 1907 and 1909. So, while the soldiers were technically Indian, they were not connected to the Punjabi people or sympathetic to India.
Thank you for the correction ❤
Soldiers were not Indians, they were nepali gorkhas from nepal. There was no indian soldier in jallianwala bagh during massacre.
Hiya! Seems like you have read up on this. Would you please suggest some books I can read on Indian freedom fighters?
Thank you for the correction ❤
They did it.
Leanerd wins 🏆
Next should be TUMBBAD. Best horror thriller movie from India.
Thanks for this episode
I discovered this in suggestions after a Indian movie reaction. Very good discussion.
Next on the list for Indian cinema is Dil Chahta Hai
Apu from the Simpsons.
What they didn't show is he individually corrected the soldiers who were missing the shots and ordered them to shoot at the densest section of the crowd so that more people can get killed in less time and Bullets ( Remember in RRR).
**350 to 400 People died is according to British officials.** They suppressed the actual figures. Some of the Internet articles also convey this. Internet is just puppet of the west. You can't trust 100% Btw Indian National Congress estimated more than 1200 peoples lost their lives. **Real Death toll is between 1000 to 2000.**
Now you know 0.01% history of British brutality in India.
Now watch ... Best horror suspense movie ever made in INDIA ... **TUMBBAD** Imdb 8.2 Runtime...1hr 45 mins Literally one of the best movie (horror) ever made. Listed in IMDB top 200. TWIST WILL LITERALLY EXPL@DE YOUR MIND. **It is beyond horror.**
Actually I would consider tumbbad more thriller rather than horror although there are horror elements in it but it's not a proper horror movie but yeah I agree it's the best work of our Indian cinema in this kind of genre
great podcast , amazing team
