It’s an Exige S2 (190hp) and the weight was circa 880kg👍

no it's a toyota engine, I had one with the rover vvc engine with some mods, better engine than this imo even tho it has a little less power it has more torque and it's lighter. They sound better also.

boltthrower23 the lotus engine wise in this clip is standard. However it has since been supercharged👍

Indeed, because there is variable cam timing in these. And, it is most sweet - my Elise has the cam profile change around 6200 rpm and it is magic every time.

Shrink1061 it’s the Toyota 2zz Ge, normally aspirated with a itg induction kit and a 2bular back box👍

Y11 LTS I sold the Exige and bought a 111r that had a bit of a bump. Same car underneath and gave me the opportunity to paint it the colour I wanted (Birch green)👍

Hugh Consitt cool, I used to have a 111R until a divorce ended that 😂 finall3 years later I’m back in a place where I’m the next few months I can get another one or an exige. Totally understand though what you’re saying about same car if no supercharger! I have that same issue at the moment so I pay a premium to get an exige (I think it does look better because it looks more aggressive) when they are the same car!!! Or save money and get a 111R

Y11 LTS either car is Fantastic although the Exige does look more serious! They drive identically though, the Elise may even be a fraction quicker at 120plus..

Its the 8' but with the itg induction kit. Most of the noise is the induction kit.

Hi David, just an ITG airbox and a 2bular backbox. Its not a supercharged car only a 190 but makes a great noise! Cheers Hugh

Ah thanks. I have an 2ubular but a TRD airbox so must be the ITG that's making the difference to the sound. Good vid, fast lap

antrax925 just locked it up on the brakes. Threshold braking but ran out of talent!
